Then why bat her in high school? Likely case at some point she will have to bat in college. I know she's not going to the SEC but how many pitchers in the SEC do you see that can't hit? I don't follow any other leagues but check the stats..... Also, not saying she can't hit I just think she should be a little more consistent.

Don't get me wrong, Lindsey is a great pitcher. She is one of the best in East TN if not the best. However if you look at her as an overall player, I'm not sure her stats are correct on unapproved website. I was a parent at the wartburg games. Wartburg is a team that has been terrible for years. They had a decent pitcher and a couple mediocre players but other than that they were not very good. (hopefully with the new coach this will change). Back to Lindsey though, in regular season, she was 1-8 against wartburg batting and not much better in the tournament. Looks like shes got a lot of improving to do before college comes as an overall athlete. I think she will do ok, just hope she sticks with it unlike most of the Morgan county athletes that are back home before people even realize theyre gone.
