Henry County defense will be fine. Stop the QB run and they won't score.
For Springfield to have a chance their defense is going to have to have their best showing of the year.
I will be making the trip. Look forward to a physical ball game. What's the best place to eat there?
The Jackets gave up 2 tds in regulation in first game. Had a backup get burnt overtop in HC territory. Everyone is healthy. The offense we saw in that 2nd half...I like the Jackets chances. It’s do or die. In this caliber of game the team with the least mistakes will win.

They're not about to do nothing walking in with that little thang.
That little thang can bring the pain now. Don’t underestimate the size

I bet you tell all the queens thats a good average size
It’s not the size of the stinger thats counts. It still does its job

Here it is 10:30 pm on Monday night on pg 6. A little confession....I went back to last yrs playoff thread and that mother was on pg 24 by that Monday night. The fun banter back and forth was crazy What’s wrong with us?
BTW, BigRed88 you need me to bring you anything from our Dollar General across the street....muffins, eye drops, nerf football, tissue, mittens?

Our Sr class has had some up and downs but they always play hard no matter the score or opponent. They’re tough as nails and talented.
Yes they are we can’t deny that

I know it’s been a privilege for both fanbases to watch their group of Seniors play the last 4 yrs. I believe both teams have a good group of Srs and neither fanbase wants to see it end. HC srs have a 38-14 career record at this point. SPT srs come into this game with an overall 41-11 record. With all of that said I think they will be 42-11 this time next week

I agree with everyone regarding the Jackets passing game. Have to be more consistent like it was in the beginning. I do expect the Patriots to bring some pressure and clog up running lanes. I expect Henry’s A game so Jackets can’t afford many mistakes or misses.

This should be a relatively quiet thread this week. Not much on the line in this game between two teams with small fan bases.
Probably won’t be 63 ppl at the game lol

I honestly believe one reason for Springfield's passing attack to look good in the 2nd half of our first meeting was because Javion Boyd went out early in the 3rd with an injury and Jayce Kendall was hobling around no where near 100%. That's two really good DB's that you pretty much take out of the equation. No wonder Springfield had success passing in the 2nd half. Those guys are back and 100% now. I think it'll be a tough game but I like Henry County's chances.
I disagree on Jackets missed passes but I agree it will be a tough game. WRs were open in first half just overthrown.

Congrats to Springfield. I had posted early in this thread my impression of Munford. I said at the time I didn’t know zip about Springfield. You guys evidently have a very solid team. Best wishes going forward in the playoffs.
It’s all good. When you don’t see any highlights or games of teams it’s hard to get an accurate observation. Good luck to your Chargers. Seems like they have been solid for a long time.

I agree. Munford put their whole team in the box. It took their whole defensive unit to tackle Devon
He rumbled and bumbled their defense haha

Munford had 11 in the box at times last night daring us to pass. Munfor$ had no answer for Mr Crenshaw’s runs
I thought Memphis Central defense was better than Munford. Central had alot of speed.

The Jackets offense has got to get the passing game working this week or this won’t be a game. We saw what it could do when the Big Red came to Springfield but it hasn’t looked good since that game.
You see what I see. First half of season it looked good. It has regressed some. To many overthrows mixed with couple drops. I expect HC to try to stop the run first. And whatever shot in the arm they had in 2nd half of game 1 is what they need now.....hopefully for the 1st half as well.

Now I need to know the real truth. On a post that some of the Munford fans made on Facebook saying just the opposite. That Springfield was dirty and trying to injure several of their players. Also that the refs weren't doing anything about it. One of the exact quotes <("Our Cougars lost tonight to a team that played pretty dirty, and officials that needed glasses. We didn’t play our best, but we aren’t used to getting kicked, getting helmets yanked off, or getting collars pulled for tackles. Officials should be protecting the kids, and they sucked at that") ..So who's telling the truth. We need answers LOL
Someone sounds clueless and butthurt

I loved to watch Johnny Jones run. Did their Mr Football candidate not play tonight or did he get hurt early?
He probably had 10-12 yds for the whole game. Not a lot of touches. He came out limping after his best run of the night....8 yds...late in 3rd qt I believe.

I agree. They were tackle us by the face mask and blocking with their hands in the mask. Their player fumbles the ball when we strip him and we are flagged for face mask. They have a player leave the bench with no helmet after a play to get chipped, no flag. I literally couldn’t believe what I was seeing
Maddening. Surely these fake and phony refs aren’t that blind. If these clowns show up in Paris they may throw me out of the game bahaha.

Kid kicks our defensive player after he is tackled for a loss and we get flagged. I laughed out loud the officiating was so bad. I was hoping we wouldn’t have any one hurt or tossed
These refs couldn’t be this blind. They willingly let Munford players punch and kick. I hope we don’t see these clowns in Paris.

I didn’t see anyone jump on the opportunity to start this thread quickly so I took it upon myself. I figure most ppl are on the road and I’m on my couch. We get a Rd 2 just like we all thought would happen. Jackets will be looking for a little payback. Should be another slobber knocker.

Safe travels Jacket faithful! See y’all next week Lord willin
