I understand. Jackets have to prove it. I expect to see about the same type of HC team we saw in Nov. Jackets have to do what they do best and Do Not Shoot Self In The Foot to give themselves a chance for home advantage come Nov.

What happened in our game with them is alot of 2nd string defense came in 2nd qt and 1st team offense got one series coming out of halftime and 2nd teamers played majority of the 2nd half.

Alot of Patriots missed that game. Amiright?

If I had to guess I bet the coaches have been preparing for this game for a while.

I don’t think designed QB runs will work much either...maybe a couple yds. In Nov Devon had a few scrambles and held onto the ball and couldn’t out run the pursuit. He has to get rid of it if nothing is there imo. So far the passing game is alot better this year. This game will be a big test for the Jackets for sure.

HC is prone to have a bad snap on punts if it hasn’t been fixed. Maybe Jackets can get one to go their way.

I did notice some teams getting into the backfield on their pass plays. Id like to see the Jackets get back there some. Have to watch for the screen to RB on them plays bc they can get a big chunk from what I’ve seen. It will be interesting to see how Jacket receivers do and if Devon puts in on the money. I expect them to bring pressure as well.

Ive seen 2 HC games....Beech and Gibson on the WHNY WLZK Facebook page this yr. HC has good team. If Springfield makes mistakes that will lessen the chances of a Jacket victory. Stuff like a 5 yd punt inside the redzone of your opponent like I seen Beech do....Patriots capitalized on it iirc. Defense have to tackle better than they did in Nov. Offense have to make plays and put it in the endzone like they are capable of.

They’ve got to hit on these plays they’ve been hitting on. Im also anxious to see how the Jackets play in the trenches. Patriots are tough when they run the ball. Jackets have to make holes and protect Devon.....cliche.

Last year first 6 games Jackets avg scoring 28 pts giving up 8. This year through first 6 games Jackets avg score 38 ppg giving up 6. Obviously the same schedule. Jackets offense has gotten better. We’ll see if they can put up some points on the Patriots this year.

I went back and watched game in Nov and HC was playing good ball and didn’t hurt themselves. The Jackets on the other hand shot themselves in the foot. Low snap on a punt that gave HC short field, kickoff that bounced off a front lineman that gave them short field, piss poor tackling at times, DB slowly getting out of his backpeddle and getting burnt that gave them good field position, Devon hung onto ball too long at times, unnecessary block in the back that wiped off a td.......the Jackets can’t kill themselves anymore. I expect to see the Nov version of HC. Jackets have to play loose balls to the wall.

I was kinda thinking the same thing from Jackets perspective. We all know that the Patriots are a balanced team. 2 has a good arm and pretty good with accuracy. Boyd seems to be his favorite target. Both teams have tons of experience and athletes it will be an interesting game.

45 minutes or hours?

I expect this game to be closer than it was in Nov. Both teams are capable of winning imo. Patriots have already been tested. Im anxious to see how the Jackets do against their first real test. I haven’t made up my mind on a prediction but I can see both teams scoring in the 20s.
