my child plays for the tennessee express and I also keep a set of books for each game. In the charles davis game, our team had 9 team fouls. in our first game with shelbyville sports shop who could have received home cooking , but did not the tn express had 10 team fouls, In our 2nd game vs. memphis elite tn express had 7 team fouls. in our third game against the storm who we lost to we had 11 team fouls and in our 4th game against the southern statrz we had 5 team fouls in our ffifth game vs. louisville jauguars we had 7 team fouls and in the charles davis game # 6 we had 9 team fouls and in our last game against the storm who we lost to for a 2ns time we had 9 team fouls. there were no games where we did not have any fouls. Our starting 5 girls have been playing together for 4 years and try very hard not to foul, they have not been taught to play wild basketball, but have been taught to play controlled basketball and have been taught to play their positions very well to stay out of foul trouble. My daughter had 4 fouls in one of the games, so please stop undermining their success as a team by saying they receive special treatment. As far as the Charles Davis team goes we have beat them at least 3 times (twicce last year & once this year) I guess they can't get past that and want to blame some one for their loss instead of saying the express played a better game than they did and won. I have nothing personal against any team or coach, but when we lose games such as the 2 we lost to the storm we do not go and cry foul play we were cheated out of a win, the simple truth is we lost they had a beter game and won fair & square. The storm is a great team and has a great coach, I do not feel that any team last weekend in 11U received home cooking or special treatment. I think the teams that played well came out on top. I am very dissapointed that adults would get on this site and attempt to undermine a childs basketball team in this way. There was alot of rough play in this the 11u division and yes the charles davis team in my opinion plays uncontrolled basketball which leads to fouls, but I as a parent would never personally attack someones team by saying the things that have been said on this site. I hope we can all be adults from now on. !!!!!!

Do the Teams that are playing in this Super Regional have to sign in as a team at a designated location at one time or do they just show up for their 1st scheduled game?

Does anyone know what facility the 10u girls state tournament in memphis will be held ? We need to book hotel reservations and needed to know where the best place to stay is ?? Can anyone give us any info, it would be greatly apreciated .

To Tq1105 : Try having 1 age group play all of their games at 1 gym location,then they will be on site to watch their child play and can work gate, concession,clock or keep books when their child is not playing. At our tournaments we have 1 gym site for each age group. The teams go to that 1 gym site for their games. This works out well for the teams and for our parent volunteers. It also allows us to make some friendships with parents from other teams and share ideas about how they do their tournaments. Thanks for your opinions, but I still must stand my ground on kids and teens running the clock at an official AAU event such as sub-states and super regionals. I feel the entry fee to participate warrents qualified adults running the clocks. This is also my opinion, but if you have read the other posts, others have the same opinion. Thanks

JUST FOR YOUR INFO IT WAS NOT THE GAME BALL GIVEN AT THE LAWRENCE COUNTY TOURN THE WINNER AND THE RUNNER-UP TEAMS BOTH RECEIVED A NEW BALL WITH THEIR AGE GROUP SUCH AS 10U CHAMPIONS OR 10U RUNNER-UPWRITTEN ON THE BALLS. THESE BALLS COST APPROX $45.00 EACH AND ARE THE NEW BALLS THAT ARE BEING ADVERTISED TO USE FOR AAU TEAMS. I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GREAT WAY TO RECOGNIZE THE WINNING TEAMS. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AT THE OTHER GYMS IN LAWRENCE COUNTY, BUT AT THE 10U & 9U WE HAD ADULTS RUNNING OUR CLOCKS,GATE AND CONCESSION STAND AND KEEPING OUR BOOKS, WE ALSO DID ANNOUNCE THE WINNERS AT THE END OF THE TOURNAMENT. YES I DO AGREE THAT THEY DO NOT NEED A TROPHY EVERY TIME THEY PLAY, BUT WHAT I WAS SAYING WAS THAT AFTER OUR TEAM WON. NO ONE ANNOUNCED THE WINNER IS______. WE JUST PACKED UP AND LEFT, THER WERE NO ADULTS RUNNING THIS GYM ONLY KIDS AND TEENS.

THE SHOWTIME SHOOT-OUT 10U WINNERS WERE ALSO TN EXPRESS OUT OF LAWRENCEBURG. WE WERE VERY HAPPY TO WIN, BUT WERE DISAPPOINTED THAT AFTER OUR FINAL GAME (AFTER BEING MOVED TO A DIFFERENT GYM AND OUR GAME TIME CHANGED) THAT NO ONE SAID CONGRATULATIONS OR ANNOUNCED THAT WE HAD WON, IN FACT NO RECOGNIGITION WAS GIVEN AT ALL, NO PLAQUE OR TROPHY NOTHING. FROM WHAT I HEAR FROM OTHER AGE GROUPS ,THIS WAS THE SAME IN EVERY AGE GROUP , IT WAS LIKE YOU PLAYED AND WON AND NO BIG DEAL. EVERY GYM THAT WE PLAYED AT IN SHELBYVILLE IN THIS TOURNAMENT WAS RAN BY KIDS AND TEENS,THE SCOREBOARDS WERE RAN BY KIDS AND THE RULES WERE DIFFERENT AT EVERY GYM, THE REFS PLAYED BY THEIR OWN RULES. I KNOW IT TAKES ALOT TO HOST A TOURNAMENT,BUT WE WERE DISAPPOINTED AT THIS TOURNAMENT.

Does anyone know anything about TN Voyagers, TN Top Guns, Brentwood Thunder, Lady Belles, or Team Tennessee. Who do you think the top two teams are to go to the state.

THEY HAVE A GREAT COACH AND THE PARENTS REALLY APPRECIATE THE TIME THAT HE GIVES FOR THIS BASKETBALL PROGRAM.
