The only game I would be for dropping is Dyersburg. We have to play Milan! Sorry to me this is a must. The other two are Huntingdon and McKenzie which are our size. We will see what happens next year. For all we know we may be in the same district with McKenzie and Huntingdon. We will just have to wait and see if Gaddis schedules tough, cupcake or somewhere in between. My guess is some where in between. Alot of it will have to do with how well we do this year. Unfortunately some coaches do their best to schedule weak out of district and we could have a hard time finding games.

Disclaimer: IF Westwood is better than I think then they could rain on my parade. I may have to go watch them when we play Greenfield if we are where I expect us to be. I just can't bring myself to think a 2A memphis school can make it to the semis or title game. I can not remember when the last time that happened.

I am a big fan of the Sonny Moore Ratings. Is it perfect? Absolutely not! Matter of fact it missed the West Carroll and South Gibson wins. It does give me a pretty good idea of when we are "SUPPOSED" to be competitive. We over achieved against Milan and Huntingdon and I EXPECT that we will continue to do so the remainder of our season. That being said look at this: We are: #167 PEABODY 102.11 #122 DYERSBURG 108.26 #123 UNION CITY 108.19 #284 SOUTH FULTON 78.49 #137 HUMBOLDT 106.71 #296 HALLS 73.86 #319 GREENFIELD 64.29 To estimate the score difference of a game, compare the two teams PR and add 2 points to the home team for the average HFA. I like to think we could win out in the regular season, but I will not be upset if we hit one snag as long as we are getting better. I expect that we will make it to the third round give or take a game. I do not believe west teneessee is very good overall this year in 2A. It will be a battle between US, Dresden, Adamsville and Humboldt to see who plays at best: the east representative in the title game and at worst Trousdale County in the semis if they are shifted west as they have in the past at times. Everyone needs to quite griping about the schedule and enjoy what should be some very good football games. STAY HEALTHY AND ROLLLLLL TIIIIIIDDDDEEE!!!!!!!!

I agree we SHOULD not win this one. I sense there is a hole in the ole Trojan armor. We need to start fast and put together a complete game. Dyersburg do not appear to be as disciplined. I hope they are looking to next weeks game with Crockett County. I will only be disappointed if we are not competitive.

Wow I thought I was about to have to choke down a crow or two. It can be good to win a close one like this. Lake County was better than I thought. Glad they are single A I would hate to have to play them again in the playoffs.

We have to stop the Jones kid who looks like a pretty special player. I do not think their line will block us though. They seem to have lost some kids for various reasons that have hit them hard up front. I also do not think they can stop us offensively unless we come out flat and do something stupid like get a bunch of penalties and turnovers.

The four years in a row is of no consequence to me. Lets look at this year compared to last year for McKenzie and Humboldt. MHS is 1-1 after two games and +5 scoring in 2011. In 2012 they are 0-2 and -40 in scoring. Are Dresden and Westview that much better than last year or are they the same or worse? I say McKenzie is down some. Humboldt is 2-1 after three games this time last year with a score difference of +19. In 2012 they are 1-2 and have a score difference of -24. I would say Crockett and Milan are better than last year. However you have a common opponent which is a huge rival for both of our programs. No lets look at us. In 2011 we were 0-2 just like now BUT if you look at point difference in 2011 we are -56. This year we are -13. I think we can agree that we are better. Milan as I have already stated is better than last year. Huntingdon is probably not quite as good but only a little change. All this said we need a win this week against McKenzie and we "should" get it. Hopefully it will be a spring board to more success to come. Roll Tide! Stay healthy.

I am glad we hired Gaddis and not you to coach the team. He will have them ready. You will see. Unless we get a bunch of kids hurt, we will probably win our second round game this year. Depending on the playoff seeding and what kind of momentum we have, we might make it a little further.

We simply disagree then. I still strongly believe we "should" beat McKenzie and Humboldt this year. I hope the players believe they "should" because ultimately they are the only ones that can do anything about it. Hopefully the the coaches are conveying that expectation as well and I am sure they are. They are a good staff.

Well if McKenzie is not a "should win" this year with them being down, then which teams left on the schedule are "should be wins"? Lake County, South Fulton, Greenfield and Halls? Any others? If not what is different from last year? I feel strongly that we "should" beat McKenzie and Humboldt.

Well I was diasappointed in the twelve point loss to Huntingdon. We SHOULD get the much needed win this week though. The last time we beat the Rebels was 2007. Since we have lost four straight to them. Lets go Gaddis right the ship. Lets beat the folks we SHOULD beat(maybe sneak up on a couple of others), stay healthy and make some things happen come November.

Trenton will win this game by at least two scores if they play like they did against Milan. If they don't they should still squeek out a win against a one dimensional 1A Huntingdon squad. I expect to see us stack eleven in the box. Appears we have the right guy. Remember if we do what we are supposed to and stay healthy we will make waves in the playoffs THIS year.

Why would it take a couple of years? It shouldn't. Might have to wait till next year, but I doubt it. 2A is really not that good. We will make it past the first round this year. Could be better.

We have enough talent to be competitive with everyone on our schedule this year. We will not go undefeated but we should be ready for the playoffs this year. I will be very disappointed if we do not win at least two playoff games this year. Good grief if Dresden can make it to the state game in 2A we should be making it to the third or fourth round very soon. If we have to wait for four years we have the wrong man at the head of the team. I think we have the right guy. If we can make it through our buzzsaw of a schedule without any major injuries we will make waves in the playoffs THIS year.

What is recent? You better not look past us! Remember 2004? You all played fourteen ballgames. We only won two you were one of them. In 2006 you beat us in the regular season and we beat you when it mattered the most in the quarterfinals. We will not be intimidated!
