I train QBs and have been working with Kraig at QB/Receiver camps across the country for the last 9 yrs. Great coach, guy and family man. There will good opportunities for young players that choose to play at EH under Coach Campbell, especially on offense. We just held a QB/Rec camp this past weekend at EH, 65 QBs and 20 Receivers. Two college freshmen QBs were there, one from Florida and one from Penn State, who Craig helped to train in the past and come back to serve the young campers. Craig will get it going there
  2. Wes, do you know if McCallie/Father Ryan will be televised?
  3. Don't know if any of you saw this article last season by unapproved website, but there was a ranking of toughest high school football leagues nationally. Tennessee's Division II AA was ranked 5th nationally. I am still trying to find that article. Point is, the league got recognition as a very, very tough league to be in. East Tn didn't nor did the Rutherford County league. That is not to say there are not very good teams in those leagues.
  4. my son played do BA. Some BA coaches told me they tried to schedule Maryville a few times. Maryville politely declined. This was a couple years ago this was said.
  5. BA played at MBA in 2011. The posted video was Sept. 2012. I do not, however, know when new new posts went up. I thought 2011 were the old ones and 2012 were the new ones.
  6. BA - McCallie 2012, BA was down. And it was Baylor - Ba in 2011, not 2012
  7. All this might make him a MVP, but doesn't make him the best QB
  8. "Hands Down" That's not what the stats are showing. as a matter of fact it looks like Hall edged him a little! Wonder what it looks like if Hall and Staver get 45 pass attempts per game.
  9. Exactly who on the list shouldn't be on there and then who should be on there IYO?
  10. I have intimate knowledge of the receiver/ref communication from talking with the receiver coach from BA who saw on Hudl film the receiver signaling the ref, and the ref giving the ok to the receiver. The coach then had a conversation with the receiver and heard his account. The simple fact is it is a travesty for the ref to give the ok to a young man and then call the da** penalty. It does not matter whether or not he was lined up too close to line of scrimmage.
  11. Come on man. First of all, who is coach Ray? Second of all, obviously he helps the refs make calls on the field according to what you're saying, especially right in front of his bench. Thirdly, it was the same ref that gave the ok who called the penalty. Dude, you are trying to argue when you don't even know the FACTS. Please don't respond to this as it does not matter anymore. Just had to set you straight.
  12. You are still missing what I am saying. The ref gave the receiver an ok as to where he lined up. That is why you always see receivers and refs communicating in some way before a snap. For the ref to then call a penalty on the receiver he just gave an ok tells the whole story of BA and the TSSAA.
  13. The point is not BA lost on a bad call. The point is BA lost on intentional calls. I agree about BA's defense, however.
  14. You had some credibility up to the point when you posted paragraph #2 above. Please, please, please tell us how you arrived at that conclusion.I have heard enough of this crap. I am going to let you all in on a little known fact. BA is up by 2 with somewhere around 5 min. or so in the 4th qtr. BA qb throws for a first down, but SURPRISINGLY, an illegal man down field penalty was called. BA receiver confirmed with BA coach, when watching film, that he ask the ref if he was far enough off the line of scrimmage. Ref gave the receiver a thumbs up, which was seen on film by BA coach. When ref threw the flag, BA receiver went up to him and said "you gave me the ok as to where I was lined up." Ref said "sorry, no I didn't." BA wins that game. Inordinate amt of big plays called back on Eagles in the 3 years I have been watching them!
  15. So what you are saying is the whole body can land out of bounds but if just the feet are in bounds, then it is a catch?
  16. What college football scholarship offers does he have right now?
  17. who makes the lines, Las Vegas?
  18. What do you think the briarcrest/BA score will be, williamsoncounty?
  19. This is the one subject we all absolutely, 100% agree on! Thank you mykidsdad for bringing me back to earth.
  20. I told you guys about Coach Ricky Bowers, but RedRobin said I was giving Coach Ricky Bowers a hard time!
  21. Ok oldwiseone. i guess that thinking reminds me of MBA contingent, media and everyone I talked to saying MBA would beat BA because of two reasons: 1. Trinty was lucky to get out of Nashville with a win. 2. Trinty wacked BA. Just goes to show you can't use that reasoning. As a side note, I have witnessed Bowers absolutely run the score up on many teams. Case in point: nationally televised game, ESPNU, 49-7 at half. Bowers keeps 1st team in till 4th qtr with his son throwing fade after fade trying to score against Lexington Catholic. When the passing game couldn't score. he let his son run it in to the endzone with time expiring in the 3rd. Nice. huh? o
