Putnam schoolboard needs to man up and build Upperman a quality stadium or upgrade what they have. They cut the funding when built for other projects and never touched it since. Cookeville has 5× as many seats and turf. It's a joke what Monterey abd UHS get compared to CHS and both have better programs. Putnam needs to invest in a winner, or at least try and be fair.

I don't think so. Wildcats have a solid 2a team that could go far. But far to many weapons for UHS. I say score in the 42-7 and at best 42-14 type game. No slight against the wildcats.

Not unless lots of injuries happen to UHS. What people don't realize is UHS is Upperman, basicalky west putnam county hs....not Baxter city school. Lots of population now in west Putnam county east of Willow Ave. Lots of people with a Cookeville mailing address are zoned, when enforced, to go to Upperman. Cookeville is to populated to house every hs student in the city. So I laugh when I hear " they are stealing Cookeville kids" when Lots of Cookeville is zone to UHS.

Who are those 4 players? Dedmon, Rollins, Cullum, Harris were all on the team last year. I think it's more due to best player plays at UHS, not exactly so at CHS. The baseball team won state and like 12 kids had dads or cousins play on UHS title teams of the early 90s. In basketball, I seen more kids transfer to CHS from UHS than the other away around.

To many mistakes for the Bees. Int, muffed kick off fumble, 65 yard run and fumble, 45 kickoff return called back on hold away from play. Can't do that in big games.

Surprisingly, UHS could be winning. Give them points after a muffed kickoff and a int. Then the 65 yard abd fumble. This might turn into a game.

Qb got hurt last week and they backup won the game with a huge performance. He is more accurate thrower. I probably would have started him. The started looks like he is still hurt.

USH defense is hood enough, not so sure on offense.

Like I said all season.....if your not putting 50+ most every game in the regular season, when you play the big boys you offense will struggle. If you need reference look back at Alcoas, Maryville, Elizabethton scores through the season. Championship teams destroy most everybody they play. Unless UHS schedules another championship type team during the regular season that is.

Yes loaded soph, fresh and 8th grade class for sure. The area is growing so always a few newbies float in. One very skilled wr/db was rulled ineligible this season and should help alot next season.

They invest in Cookeville High, the worst football program in the county. Both Monterey and Upperman have made it to the Semis with no Support.

Upperman travels well

He miss the season after 4th game as a sophmore, and only made playoffs 1 season. He could easily pushed for the carrer record. His team got this 9 year run started
