To me Corbin is the key in making this offense go.Defensively I'd like to see us play a complete game like we did against FCHS for onceI think you are exactly right. Play good defense pound them up front with the line and Corbin, then run it with Lankford and Little Man till there tongues are hanging.

Not sure how many LV players play.Rain chances have diminished to 20% humidity around 65%.Heavy dose of Corbin early on will set things up for the other backs.Pound the rock!!!How many of the player that LV has actually get to play? It's going to be humid if it does not rain and I know from going both ways when I played that early in the season it is terrible and the cramps will be coming. Pirates could run away with it when it is gut check time.

Don't think many people would say even if they did.Your program has come a long ways.Good luck the rest of the way.See you at The Pitt Oct12Don't think many people can say they got beat 95-3 like the Bucs.

Well someone has to transport them. With a name like pastry I thought you delivered sweetcakes.I'm sure Roy will share a fudge round with you.As for the game Marion will roll.Good luck to both teamsDo you really think Snackmaster Roy would let anyone much less me transport his Little Debbies? I couldn't get within 100 yds of his fudgie little rounds.

Don't remember exactly when but remember it wasn't very pretty. As for the first championship 2003.As for the one that's next 2012.In 1A It comes down to Gordy/SoPitt in the east & Union City/Huntingdon in the west.No disrepect to any other programs.Still a long ways to goWell since you said that we thrived in a short time, when did Boyd start playing football, and when was the first championship we won?

Thoughts & Prayers going out to the McClain family.I'd like for all us SPHS alumni to remember the Don McClain family. He was an avid Pirate fan that passed away Sunday morning after having surgery to remove a toe last week and last word I had was he passed from a heart attack. I saw in the obituary that the four years he played football at SP that he was on teams that lost only one game and tied one. Pretty good record. He will be sorely missed at the games this year. His son Bill was a great blocking back in the single wing back in the early 70's.

Rain will not be a factor.Marion runs away with this one.PP I didn't know you drove a 1984 GMC dump truck.Thought you drove Roy's Little Debbie snack cake truckRain might make a difference but I doubt if it will effect either team much. If your driving a Barret-Jackson show car you worry about getting rained on. If your driving a 1984 GMC dump truck ya don't.

I don't want to sit thru a downpour either. Was there at Knox Grace & the Swamp Monsoon. But like ML said we can counter that with Corbin.Packing rain gear nonethelessPowerp, a wet field would affect both teams the same , I guess, I just hate to set in a downpour like we had at Knox Grace, but I would be there. If you made a prediction yet, I missed it

Good to hear some key players are back. With 2 nail biting wins the Coaching staff at Marion has these boys believing in themselves & buying into what they're teaching.Winning these close games will continue to build confidence.Marion scores early & oftenMarion County gets some key players back this week is what i have heard and they are ready to rock some heads against whootwell.. i say MC by at least 4 touchdowns

I lol'd. After being clipped the Eagles soarThe Fall Creek Hermit 'bout got choked up when he hear'd Bledsoe vs Signal would be the channel 9 game of the week next week.
P.S. He wuz choked up laughing not choked up with emotion.

Am i the only one that thinks Pittsburg wont run MC up and down the field. If Pittsburg's offense stays on the field majority of the game it will be similar to years past, but if MC keeps that smashmouth run offense on the field and keep Pittsburg's off.
Yes,yes you are

Not as lame as Jasper's game. You will be a witness Sept14 bout halftimeSnappy comeback, no just kidding it was lame.
-
So you think shutting out Jasper & playing in the State title game is a step back? What do I have to do to impress?Just talking football. I have to say I thought that Last years SP team had taken a step back and I was proven right in the end. I believe that this years team has taken another particularly in the trenches. LV looked to me to be the most impressive team at the jamboree. It is difficult to see/judge from that as most play it close to the vest but they looked pretty good. The one strike against them is their lack of numbers. An awful lot of people going both ways even for a small school. LV I believe has some matchup problems problems for SP. If the qb gets time to throw he could do some damage. If I know SP they will try to make up for weakness up front with blitzes particularly from the secondary which could cost them big plays with that kid. In the end I believe that SP should wear down LV but I would not be shocked if LV makes things uncomfortable for SP.
