Yeah I was very surprised with how your AD played it. Fairview belongs in the best district in the AA state but I guess he was just done with it.

Just telling it like it is Jacketman.. Nothing against you, Slim, your players or most of your coaches (good buddies with your LB/RB coach), but it was made very clear that you didn't want to play in 12AA anymore.

Lewis Co, Fairview, Hickman Co. And East Hickman were all very adamant in that they didn't want to play District 12 teams anymore - Giles Co impeticular. No hard feelings Slim, Jacketman and LCP, but your reps backed out hard

District 12AA loses East Hickman, Hickman and Fairview but gains CPA and Cascade. Still a tough district, but we'll miss some great games next year. Best of luck to your teams next season! Rock, they have 4-5 that go both ways if I remember correctly. They cough up the ball pretty easy when you make good contact too also, their big leg kicker doesn't like the cold - expect opportunities on special teams. Their QB is average, fast receivers with good hands make their pass game decent. They can run the ball behind that big line, but they haven't played a defense like Giles.. I would be very surprised to see them score more than twice. Defensively, they have 2 kids that can pass rush very well. 21 is extremely fast and does decent in coverage.. Overall the secondary is above average, but Cobb and company should take care of business. Overall I would say they are very similar to Fairview with a better offensive line. I haven't seen many schools out of Nooga that are very well conditioned or have the depth to make up for it. With that being said, should be a great first 2 and a half quarters. Have a safe trip East and bring a movie for the bus ride home that gets the boys pumped up for next week. Hoosiers is a classic

East will have to play mistake free football and their coaches will need to execute a perfect game plan ti not get beat by more than one TD. East is not physical enough to line up and run the ball every play this week.. Page was more physical on the defensive side of the ball.. East has 2-3 guys that need coaching on how to carry the rock or they will turn it over atleast 5 times this week. Giles -35 East - 14

I think us playing Giles would have been a better game than what EH will play.. Film will not prepare them for what they will encounter in the brickyard..

I believe Page played more physical last night than EH. Our secondary played and tackled pretty well.. EH is a very fast, big and athletic team.. However, you guys have 4 players that go both ways for most of the game? You literally feel like you're playing a college team when you play in the brickyard. Their 1st and 2nd teams are ranked top 10 in the state because their coaches bring in a great game plan and stick to it. If you find a weakness, they adjust. If you exploit a formation - they'll change it. If it's on NCAA 13, it's in their playbook. Not many high school QBs make pre and post snap reads based on more than thing the defense is giving him. Your defense will have to rush more than 4 to keep Cobb from having a field day. If you sell out to the pass, these kids will run the ball better than most teams in the state. I'm not saying it's not doable EH, but you will have to play mistake free football and your coaches will need to get very good very quick.

I will say that East is one of the classiest programs we played all year. Had a fan during halftime that was escorted out for bad mouthing our players (he was in his 50s), but other than that.. great football environment. East has a great team and I wouldn't be surprised if they play Giles to a 10 or less point game. Don't let this Cowboy Clown get you off track this week, there's a reason no one in our district respects him. We'll be pulling for Giles, but we do wish your team the best and thanks for the great football environment.

EH is a good team, but CC you're an idiot if you think they'll beat Giles. Go get em Bobcats.
