I'd like to see Page put another formation in on their bye week and start running the ball 20 times a game. 9 is a power runner and 3 has some wheels.. Bye week does suck though, is Page practicing Monday through Thursday or what? What did you guys do rock?

Yeah I agree. They did it for some kind of giving blood foundation or something I think though.

Rock why even make this thread? Let's end it with this. Giles is an outstanding ball club and will win out easily until the Fairview/Page games and even then should still win.

I think LC will bounce back this week to win by 14+. Fairview will beat Marshall 31-10. You're right on with the Hickman game. Giles by as much as they want as quick as they want. Sure wish we could take some of those athletes off SH's team so they could win some ball games.

I didnt think FV was that dirty of a team against us.. Then again we are one of the more physical teams in 4a football so we're normally the ones getting the late hits/illegal blocks - unfortunately. The only thing stopping FV against us was their fans being unsupportive and their coaches allowing them to play flat football. Sounds to me like Fairview was more physical in this game, realized they were, and proceeded to make some stupid classless decisions. I have some buddies over there in the view that coach, I think we'll be seeing a different mindset out of this team from here on out. "win like you've been there before"

I think both Page and Lewis fans expected more out of their players and coaches tonight. Both teams have the athletes and the coaches, it just looked like there wasn't alot of heart to go with it. I wasn't thrilled with the play calling on offense for both teams either..

Page played awful.. Happy to have gotten away with the win. Time of possession game goes to LC for sure.. Should have been a 35-0 game. LC players and fans were a class act tonight, thanks for the sportsmanship.

#21 for FV is an animal. #11 for HC and #10 for FV are great backs. If FV comes to play from start to finish they will win by as much as they want. If they come out flat HC will run the ball down their throats all night.

Yeah I'd say we'll be able to tell alot about the district with those 2 games

Old man are you going to make it to another game this week? I agree that Hickman is a better team this year, but the only way I see them giving Fairview a run for their money is big special teams play. FV's front 4 / LBs do well against the run.. The only thing between FV and a game this December is stupid penalties and not playing to their potential.

Nothing better than having a team like that old man.. Hopefully we'll have the team thing figured out come week 10. We showed it for a half against Fairview, that's about it though.

Page's defense is shaping up to be pretty stout, they just need to eliminate those 2-3 big plays a game. If they play to their potential friday it could be a long night for LC running the ball. I believe this game will come down to special teams where I'll give Page the upper hand. I know LC in the past could put on a running offense clinic but can they throw the ball?

I have a feeling it could come to who digs a better trench. Thank God for the bye week..

One more week down, what's everyone thinking in the district now? Just my thoughts, Summit will get their first district win against Spring Hill this year. Fairview will roll into the playoffs despite a Giles loss. I don't think Giles will be challenged until they play Page last game of the season and even then should pull the win. Hickman and Lewis are both great squads, I believe they will fight for the 4 seed. East isn't playing consistent enough to make predictions, when they are playing well they are a great ball club. Marshall County will compete for #5. Any thoughts? Not looking for drama here, just testing my football knowledge.

Yeah definitely should be an exciting game.. I believe Page will come back from a (don't let the score decieve you) less than satisfactory performance tonight at Summit to beat LC by 14+. I'm going to go with a 35-14 Page final, Coach Rathbone has proven that Page comes to play on their home field. Wish both LC and Page a good week of practice with no injuries.

Fairview will pull it together tonight, look forward to seeing how deep your team goes into November, possibly December pending the drama.

I was told yesterday by a kid who graduated and played on the team last year. I would hope it's not true..

Is Fairview allowing Moore to play? I heard he was arrested this past weekend. That would be devistating for the jackets, he's a for sure D1 player pending he stays out of trouble.

The better part of me has kept from posting on this thread, but because it just won't go away I guess I will. The better team won friday night, here's a hint Fairview, mouths don't win ball games. Fairview players, you played your butts off, your coaches let you down because they didn't prepare you. Fairview parents.. I've never seen a group of grown men scream at opposing HIGH SCHOOL players and refs as they go off the field. Calling kids every name in the book is classless and after representing our county for 16 months in Iraq I was disgraced to have said I served for the parents of Fairview players. Good luck with the rest of your season Fairview, you have alot of talent. Tell your coaches and parents to grow up so you can win ball games.
