I am with you TOTOTA , I do not know. That is what this thread was started for to begin with. I have looked at every rule I could think of and can not find one. I had thought it was aginst the rules, but that mostly came from years of just thinking it, and from the NCAA ect. I would like to see the rules, but I still say it makes us look silly when our band plays while the other team is trying to throw a deep post.

wildcat, well at Cascade Friday night will be a site then as the Cascade and Community bands battle it out during game play and each section fans will think they look stupid because the bands do not know the rules.

Lancer I am not really sure what you are saying. I doubt seriously the band playing while we are on D hinders us in any way; however it does make us look like a hick town school which doesn't even know the rules.

I have always thought that the band could not play during actual football game play, is this correct or not? Also what are the specific rules for high school bands during football games? The band at our school plays during game play and have been doing it for some time now. Sometimes they might play a song through an entire drive. To me this seems unsportsman like and to me it makes us look like a bunch of hicks; however this is only my opinion. I finally said something to the band director, and he stated that they were allowed to play while the offense was on the field (this was after they were playing while the other teams offense was on the field and during their plays). For me this explained nothing as an offense is almost always on the field, and it did not explain playing during football action. I could easily be wrong, but even if I am it still seems wrong to do.

LOL I don't think too many 16 year old kids are on this site........I could be wrong. Just seen some talent there and wanted an oppinion.

If anyone goes to this game take a look at #73 (Community), and later give an honest oppinion.

Many people in Arkansas never heard of ULM prior to Saturday, but I got you. They have only had 6 full seasons of football and not a lot of success yet, but have been playing well this season (even with a 1-3 record).

Who wins this? Both teams need a win, Community is playing better ball than they ever have, and Eagleville seems to be comming up just short.
