yep..they play dekalb next week i think.

york should be interesting to keep an eye on. Im interested to see how they do when they get challenged.

Who cares who plays what and who's in when where why and how? Only thing that matters is what that scoreboard says when that final whistle goes toot. And it will be dekalb. Winning by 20 or more Friday night. Book it

Dekalb county has a very solid football team this year. They have a very talented qb and recievers that know how to get open and catch a ball. Their o line also does a very good job of protecting the qb. On the defensive side of the ball is where im most impressed with dekalb co this year. They throw in some very tricky blitz packages that are hard to pick up on. They were on our qb "our being smith county" qb all not long forcing some bad throws for picks. Smith county has a very experienced and tuff o line and dekalb gave them trouble all night long. Ive been watching dekalb off and on since week zero looking for a weakness and havent found anything to key in on yet. I dont think dekalb is state material yet but they should go deep in the playoffs. If they continue to improve alot of teams better look out for this group. They are the real deal.

Well I know we have the talent to do well. Just need to bring it all together I guess. Luckily there's a lot of ball to be played and time to improve before the playoffs roll around.

This thread is stupid. gunner is picking a fight and the rest of you are playing into it. Lets get back to football talk. Im new to this site and a transplant fan of sc football. Why do you experts think sc is down this year? We have an experienced o line, a great running back. Other than that im not impressed. Defense looks lost most of the time. Secondary is a bit slow. Recievers drop too many balls. Doesnt look like the smith county im use to watching. Ill keep ringin my cow bell for them tho. Go Owls!!

I fear smith county may lose another one. York looks like they could give us a game. Who knows tho, still alot of football left and time to improve.

Man id love to see the dc/la matchup! Should be a great one! Im pickin dekalb in this one. Their blitz packages are tricky. Keep the qb on his toes and contain the rb. Dekalbs d should do well with that. On the other side you cant count out that very slippery back. Hes fast as a cat!
