I have seen more than a few deserving players left off all-whatever teams over the years. Glad she is coming to Pulaski to play for Martin Meth. We have a Richland senior, Ms. Bell, i hear also signed with Martin. It will be fun watching them. Yes, #24 and #55 will be seniors. I do not know what there plans are but both are excellent players. I really do not know why Coach Miller left other than he was not tenured and was not asked to stay. I know he was a very good Math teacher and a very good person and from a very good family. I believe his wife played basketball at Richland. His father teaches at Forrest I think. Coach Miller has a great deal of knowledge about Soccer too. I also know some at Richland did not like him and talked bad about him behind his back. I have no clue why. They will have to answer that. I would love to see him back. He knows basketball and is a fine teacher. It was his first fulltime head coaching position as the boys' varsity coach and that may have been too tough an assignment for anyone to jump directly into a varsity headcoaching job. I really do not know. I know that I can identify good character people and he fits the mold. Would he come back? if I was him I wouldn't. Who knows. Time will tell. But Richland has won allot of basketball games over the years and I expect them to continue to do so. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Who knows. I have not heard anything official on Hall leaving. I hope he stays.

Do not count Richland out. They have some great players returning and the best player in D11 in Jasmine Duke. If they get a good coach, this team could still dominate D11. I hear some of the younger girls have really stepped up their game. For the right pay, I will quit my Gov. Job and coach them. I know I can get results. To the Richland Girls. If your coach has quit, just hang in there and play hard. You will be just fine. I know some Richland folks are not going to like my suggestion: But I would go try to get Matt Miller from CULLY. I told him the entire time he was coaching the boys at Richland that he should be coaching girls simply because Coach Miller is a teacher and coaching girls involves a whole lot of teaching.

Wow, when did Hall start coaching baseball??????????????? Maybe he was just assisting with the baseball team. Allot of coaches at Richland help with other sports, as do most coaches at most schools.

Bet you do want him out of the district. He has been kicking your teeth in the 4 years we have been in Tennessee. Go away and play in the street, moron. NOMAD: I will get my wife to check if she can but she no longer teaches at Richland. She moved to an elementary school this year. I will tell you one thing; allot of teachers and coaches leave Giles County because they are paid so little as compared to other counties. I could see where Forrest would be a good fit. Not too much of a drive from Richland, Hall knows the team (they were in our district up until the state championship year), he probably knows the community, and the fans seem to really support their teams. I hear that they have more of an off season presence with AAU Basketball too. That can really make a difference with a team. I know that some of the girls at Richland played AAU ball but not the majority of them. DKOONS, do you know anything about the AAU program around Chapel Hill? I have heard that some of the girls at Forrest have played AAU ball together since they were little. I know your daughter played a ton of basketball and she probably played with and against them. Could you Aunt Kim or other rocket fans tell us about your AAU program??

Congrats to the Lady Kats. You have represented well. No tears in losing to a great team like Jackson County. When 2 great teams play, someone is going to lose. I do not think Hall of Richland is going anywhere. His wife and mother-in-law teach at Richland and his daddy-in-law is on BOE. Also, he lives a few miles from the school. If he did leave, which I do not believe he will, I think it would be sad to wait until your best senior class graduates and then bail out, something I do not think he would do. Although they have some very very talented girls coming back, it will be a testiment to his coaching ability if you can fill the holes left by Glidden, Bell, and Horn and continue to compete for District Championships. I hope this is just a bad rumor. I have way too much respect for Coach Chad Hall to believe he would leave. Have you heard the rumors too that Duke may leave Richland???? I know she has friends at Giles County. She will be a major asset to any team and also a great young lady with a great family. Her Mom, Aunt, and Grandma are big team supporters. Her dad is a good man too. I miss seeing them. Pierce is also a very very good softball player and could decide at anytime to just play softball. She is good. That would leave Richland is tough shape but I wish them well.

If Jackson County and ClarkRange were not ready to play then the coaches need to learn to get them ready to play on Day 1. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Jackson County is a very good team. But do not make the mistake of believing that the press Wayne County faces in D12 is less than a D7 team can provide. Maybe I am mistaken but can a college offer a junior a scholorship? I thought they had to be seniors. If correct, then these schools are going to have to be investigated by the TSSAA or the NCAA. Can anyone verify this information???? Yes, this girl is good. I wonder if all the votes were in prior to Collinwood getting knocked out of the Region tourney. If so, then Abby Andrews will probably get Ms. Basketball. If not, Kayla will most likely get it and is probably the best player in Class A. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> She should be a shoe-in next year as a senior and will be a major catch for any College. If I were her, I would give MTSU a major look.

It will be interesting to see if Forrest can get back next year. Whether they are at the point now where they simply reload or will they have to rebuild cause they are like Richland, they lose allot. But they always seem to be good so dont count them out. However, D12 will be loaded again next year so it may be a little tougher for Chapel Hill to get past Subs with all the talent they lose. Most of my predictions come out wrong. But one I made a while back could still happen. That was Wayne County Vs. ClarkRange in the Finals. I believe it will happen. Wayne County presents some match up problems for Jackson County so I will predict Wayne County by 12. Wayne County fans, do not smile when you see my prediction because I have probably jinked you by picking you to win. This actually should be illegal. That is: having to play Forrest, Jackson County and then ClarkRange to win state. That is a tough row to hoe. But no one other than JC and CR fans want an all D7 final so take care of business. My biggest hope is that both JC and WC come out of this healthy. This is like a heavy weight title fight. These 2 teams, probably positively 2 of the best 3 or 4 in the state, get after it. It should be a battle for the ages. Good luck to both and remember this: as hard as you girls play it is easy to get caught up in the emotion of the game. Such for conversation, who would you seed below Forrest between Jackson County, ClarkRange, Middleton, and Wayne County?? I know nothing about Middleton except they have 1 loss all year. I would positively seed the other 3 ahead of Forrest. And would probably have to Middleton just because of their record. Good luck Kim to your lady rockets. I agree. On paper, especially considering they have already played, ClarkRange would be the favorite. I would give OS a good chance because they have a superstar with experience and good players around her. That combination can win in one-and-done situation where it may not work all the time in regular season games. I would expect for OS to give ClarkRange all they can handle. I do not believe after looking at it that OS can run off 3 straight to win it all. Good luck to both teams, although I am pulling for Wayne County to win in all.

Everyone take a look at the matchups. Would anyone disagree that if seeding was actually done based on records and ranking, these may as well been the matchups that would have occured. I believe the top 4 seeds would have been Jackson County, ClarkRange, Wayne County, and Middleton. Wayne County and Forrest very well could have been the 4 and 5 seeds. #1 and #2 would be Jackson County and Middleton (you pick the order). Wartburg and Bradford would have been #7 and #8. Oliver Springs would have been #6 with ClarkRange as the #3. Easy to see it that way. What does everyone else think??? Just my opinion. What do you think PT12? I could see any order of the top 4 with Forrest being #5 and OS at #6.
