It looks like one of the top teams going in was eliminated last night by Houston County. Tonights games set the stage for a Double Header tomorrow night and then the championship. What are the thoughts on the rest of the tournament? Tonight: 4:30 Jo Byrns/McEwen 6:30 WHH/East Rob Tomorrow: 4:30 Houston County/winner of McEwen-JoByrns 6:30 Loser WHH-East Rob/ winner of 4:30 ????? who will come out on top and be in the championship game?

Freshman for McEwen Savannah Lucas come in against Henry County with bases loaded 2 outs and struck out the batter and pitched 3 scoreless innings after that to seal the win against a good AAA team with a UT Vol verbal Commit. Also pitched a 1 run game in a win against Dresden later in the day. This kid is looking great.

I watched Montgomery Central beat the brakes off Lewis county Friday night to the point the Lewis Cou Ty coach got one bad call and took his team off the field and hit the buss back to Hohenwald!!!

Now that there has been a few tournaments and play dates and very few actual district games who looks like the favorites? I'm thinking: 1- East Rob 2- McEwen 3- Nashville Christian 4- White House Heritage 5- Houston County 6- Jo Byrns 7- Clarksville academy ???? But who knows???

CA is one step better all the way around. Should be a great game to watch. The way CA blocks amazed me this year.

No your wrong there. Mcewen was ready to go home after the second time CA touched the ball and ran the length of the field without being touched!!!

Ok so help me out... What has to happen for McEwen to make the playoffs if they lose tomorrow?

I agree JB should win. However, for that to happen you will have to keep the ball off the ground and your QB cant force the ball like he did a couple times against McEwen. McEwen struggled against the pass all year and your QB got impatient and tried to force the ball a couple of times. If he takes what he is given and doesn't get greedy or impatient and if your backs hang on to the football then its your game to win. However, NC will be hungry no doubt. I may have to come check this game out.

I've see JB and NC play this year. Both good teams. JB offense is maybe a little better but there defense is much better. Unless they turn the ball over and beat themselves they should win.

Boy I sure hope little ole McEwen doesnt rain on yalls parade like they did Houston County last week! ha

It probably didnt help your coaches any that they worked their defensive gameplan to defend McEwens 31-pro offense all week long and then get to the game to find out McEwen changed their backfield completely and stayed in a veer all night long. Not only were they not expecting to defend the highest point output offense historically in football but probably havent played anyone all year that has run one. HC is a tough team for sure and McEwen played their game of the year so far.

McEwen rearranged their entire team and ran the veer and never slowed down against Houston County tonight. It was a shoot out that ended with a TD pass with 9 seconds left for McEwen to take the win 42-38 over the irish. Amazing game to watch.

McEwen's new offense never slowed down the entire night except for the 2 fumbles. No matter who you were for that was one awesome game to watch!!! Hunter Moran(HC), Zach Simmons(M), and Chaz Tate (M) were WOW!!!!
