  1. dominate again? the first time east and west played last year east beat them in every aspect of the game. the second time east probably played the worst game of their season while west played one of their best... east was down 14-2 early, and still came back to make it a game. while west did play much better the second game, it was no where near domination. east will suprise west tomorrow night. wait and see.
  2. Big Daddy, very well said. I couldn't agree with you more. IMACJACK will again be eating his words after the game Friday. He will then be hoping for the Devils to do some damage as a number 2 seed.
  3. Or out before Shumate can even get healthy let alone shake off the rust.
  4. I realize you are only a fan but Greeneville needs to be worried about their next game against East because their plans for sub-state could be spoiled if they get in the same bracket as Science Hill. You guys better take the tournament one game at a time or youll be out before you know it.
  5. IMACJACK, you have done a horrible job predicting games so far in the tournament, yet you keep talking. You have done nothing but smash the Morristown teams especially East. According to you, East and West should be at home right now. I am not so sure about Greeneville in the District Championship. It will be a good game, but I like Morristown East in this one. They showed great heart against Cherokee and seem to be back to playing their kind of ball again. (For the record, East was without most of their lineup in the first game against Cherokee and in the second game Farthing was out with a back injury in the latter part of the game, and he proved to be a big factor in the district tournament win). When East gets a solid performance out of their post player Farthing, they seem to all step their game up and play the best TEAM BALL in the conference. Without Shumate, East has a wonderful chance to win the IMAC and do some damage in the regional. Write that down IMACJACK.
  6. Which team from the IMAC is the most balanced and why?
  7. Well then the referee was injured in a jv game because I too was at the game. He was sitting in the area that is the floor entrance to the gym. He is tall with brown hair.
  8. Ok heres what happened with the Tracy Champion injury.... Basile hit the shot and got fouled. He did a routine fist pump while turning inadvertantly catching Champion in the face. Basile then proceeded to appoligize to Champion, the referees, and lastly the coach. The referees then asked Daniel Deaderick (floor captain, whose job is to handle all in-game confrontation) to appoligize to the Coach. Anyone who claims the unfortunate event to be one with the intention of injuring Champion has clearly either not seen the play or has a horrible understanding of the events. The person who said that it was suspicious that there was only two refs... in the girls game one of the refs were hit in the face with the ball and suffered and injury to his nose and was forced to leave the game. My personal request is that before anyone else posts about this event (which is now far out of control) please be aware of the circumstances in a more credible way than hear-say. Besides, this post was about the upcoming District Tournament.
  9. I think everyone is looking past Morristown East. They are a disciplined team. Decker and Berquist will have them ready come tournament time. East is always the underdog.
  10. The District Tournament is right around the corner and regular season play is being summed up. Who will make some noise in post season play and who will go home early?
  11. Morristown East defeated Greeneville friday night @ Morristown East. Was it a fluke or did the Canes simply take care of business? Should MoEast move into the Prep X-tra top ten?
