You guys have gone off the subject. As far as this one goes , Greeneville should win easily if they play DEFENSE. It would also be good if SH's coach plays OMAR for more than half the game so there is no excuse. Let the kids play , after all this may be the last time they play face to face! Let's hope the referees don't try to influence the outcome either. Should be a great one either way. Duncan may be the difference

By the way I like Oglesby and wished Pearl had at least gave him a look. Was asking more as wondering but also see Wiggins as a real talent and hate to see Pearl keep passing on "local kids". Pat Summit and Phil Fulmer could teach him one there. I love Pearl. Love his passion for the game and his intensity. I just think the UT programs have a need to support the community that supports them. Buzz failed to realize that and it may have more of a factor than you will hear publicly.

Number one Duncan is a defensive genius who can design a defense to stop just about anyone. Next he won't tolerate players who only want to score and not play defense. Its really simple and is neglected by most coaches and player...DEFENSE

Just wondering out loud "If Terrence blended so well with the NBA camp and is so much better than Wiggins and who knows else, why did Bruce Pearl not recuit him? Pearl said he will make sure to keep the best talent in Tennessee? Wiggins can play for UT and would not be surprised to see him there in the future.

Hopefully your coach ranks among one of the best. Recently on another post someone mentioned a coach holding his star player back. What are some of the qualities of a great coach of integrity? Or worst yet one who has sold out? Please dont metnion names unless you are positive or I am sure this post will get censored and removed. We need more coaches like Duncan from Greeneville who gets my vote for number one.

At least Duncan is not afraid to feature his star player (Wiggins). I know some coaches are "jealous" of their star players and intentionally hold them back. They seem to be trying to say the real reason we win is because I am a great coach not because we have the best player or players. Where have all the great coaches gone? To Greeneville? Duncan is too wise to be jealous of his players and knows how to motivate the least of them! Plus he is not into playing politics . Integrity is the key. Players respect that in a coach and respond accordingly. No wonder some teams fall apart with all the talent (players) in the world.

Dont know about the rest of the state but Wiggins is the best all around player in the East. He is simply too tough for the East and dont know if there is any player that has his all around ability or could match up with him?Oglesby can shoot with the best ,but is one dimensional. I expect Greeneville to dominate not just the regular season as they are 19-1 but also the regionals and sub state. After all who in the East can stop them em?

Verbal abuse is sometimes more damaging than physical abuse. When adults use verbal abuse to publically undress a kid , it is time to ask that adult to resign from their position of authority. Coaches and teachers "should" be held to a higher level of conduct. After all they should be the "example"adult ,not the problem child.

Greeneville has the total package and should go all the way this year. The district wont even be close.

How will the IMAC stack up against the likes of Farragut,Halls,Ooltewah,DB,McMinn County,SouthDoyle etc? Are any IMAC teams even in the top ten preseason? Are we going to have to be under the radar like Greeneville basketball...until the very end.....surprise,surprise surprise!

If the refs suspect a flop then they should call a foul on the flopper and warn the coach that the next time it will be a T. It is dangerous and needs to be stopped. SH is not the only team that teaches it and it needs to end NOW.

People transfer to Greeneville becasue we have the best basketball program and coach in Tennessee . Central will see why real soon and maybe some of there players will want to transfer to :0 Nothing wrong with transferring is there?
