106/113 may have a total mix of the two classes. What would you rank the kids if the 106 pounders are all 113 this year.

Who all did Zack Bynum wrestle at Pigeon Forge? What was his scores? He is a solid kid! Good form on this kid too!

Ok.... I will start this off then, with the little knowledge I have. Heritage (spl) looks very good... tight team looking like they are having a good time. Pigeon Forge. ... seems to have a breading pool for this sport...lol lol.... Bradley. .. very solid wrestlers.... As what would be the norm. Gibbs... tight team having fun and showing true to the 2 on 1 tilt... very effective! William Blount. ..solid team with some kids looking like brick Poooooooooop houses. ..lol lol Very happy with what I saw, considering my knowledge of the sport. .... Other schools I saw had some very talented wrestlers! The lighter weights had some people on the edges of the seats, while the middle and heavy weights showed true knowledge of the sport. For off season wrestling, I was impressed with the wrestling that I saw.

Who is looking good this summer and at what weight?

The 106 from this past year? Hernandez beat him and I could not find out how Hernandez did against the other kids

Gibbs kid beat Freisner(spl) but lost to 113 Bradley State Champ and Hernandez by 2... very strong tourney, given it being off season. Can't wait to see the season already.

IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE FULLER/MAXWELL MATCH WERE HE ROLLED HIM ON HIS BACK..... COULD HAVE BEEN A CLOSE PIN CALL

I will see if anyone got video of another match were I was very confused as to why the other kid won. I think if some of or all the fans of the sport started posting these type of video of referee's making or breaking a match that a wrestler put their heart and sould into that we could end up with a better wrestling state overall.

High School only?

You must be talking about the Hernandez/Maxwell match..... I am pretty sure that they are heated rivals and do remember how the match went last time.... Each of them were going at each other pretty hard and the referees had to keep a close eye on them.... Hernandez won the match and was called at the very end for cross facing Maxwell from behind which bowed Maxwell backwards as Hernandez sat on him.... Very heated match so I can only think that the next match-up being heated as well would be a given! Both kids are pretty good and had a good run at placement. Last I saw, neither placed! Maybe they should have saved a little for the next match??? Who knows... Maybe they will be in the same weight next year and swap out wins till State again.... makes for great Matches!

Wounded opponent?? The kid, if hurt should stop to save any further injuries! WOW! coaches should have never let the kid wrestle further if he showed an obvious injury! WOW Indeed!

In 106 with Justice and Maxwell tied 1-1 in the third, the ref calls a headbut by Maxwell with little time left on the clock! This put the ref in the match and neither kid even had a clue nor any marking that would have shown any action like a headbut! This made it a scramble instead of an overtime match! All we saw was a tie up and a point awarded for a headbut! Congrats to Justice for being the stud and placing 3rd. Also saw some take down calls just before time ran out that were just crazy! Even other teams were commenting and voicing there doubts of the ref! What was really funny is the secondary ref told the other ref that it was not a a take down but no pride swollowed and reverse his call! This would have gone into overtime as well! Its a shame that referees get paid very well but I can see that they sometimes drop the wrong calls.

What happened to Adam Fuller after wrestling Maxwell from Gibbs@106 lb. ? We made it to the show and we are glad for that but wow,so many forfeits and it seemed as if the brackets were not as spread out and or planned out as well as they could have been! 106 was fun to watch and some kids pulled it together for great a great match! We have had our days this year and are packing it up a day early but really had a fun year! Next year we are,that is if he makes it, planning to have a cowboy look to match the venue. Met some great families and kids at the State in the cow place(lol)... be safe and hope to get back next year!

This does not apply to my little one. He is a pound under anyways but what about the kids that can't go to practices for maintaining their weight?
