  1. ITS ALL ABOUT #1 TRUE! BUT NEVER PUT DOWN THOSE THAT PUT IN THE WORK TOO THAT MAY FALL SHORT OF #1 BUT SHOULD STILL GET RESPECT FOR THE EFFORT!
  2. SEEMS AS IF LITTLE TIMMY IS AT A HIGHER WEIGHT MAYBE OR COULD BE THE (HIGHER POWERS TO BE) BUT I CAN SEE SOME VERY UPSET PARENTS THAT WOULD WANT AN EXPLANATION FROM TSSAA FOR MAKING ONE WEIGHT LESS IMPORTANT TO THE TOURNAMENT DUE TO NO PLACERS! JUST FROM FOLLOWING IT THIS YEAR AND FROM WHAT PEOPLE ARE POSTING ABOUT REGIONAL PLACEMENT, THAT YOU COULD JUST SEE A SEEDED TOURNEY START TO FORM FROM THAT DATA ALONE! FRUSTRATING ....
  3. SO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS THAT SINCE ALL THE WAYS TO SEED THE BRACKET ARE OUT THE DOOR ... I UNDERSTAND THAT BUT THEN THEY SHOULD SIMPLY TAKE EACH REGION CHAMPION AND RUNNER UP ALONG WITH 3RD AND 4TH. DIVIDE THE BRACKET ACCORDINGLY WITH THE RANKINGS/HEAD TO HEAD! SHOW THE BRACKET THE ATTENTION IT SHOULD GET INSTEAD OF TOSSING NAMES IN THE AIR AND SAYING TAKE WHAT YOU GET... 106, TO ME, HAS TO BE THE HARDEST TO DO ANYTHING WITH BUT IT DOES SEEM THAT IT CAN BE DONE BY FOLLOWING RECORD AND HEAD TO HEAD....BUT DEF...SEED THIS AS THE OTHER SO THESE KIDS GET THE SAME ATTENTION AS THE REST OF THE WEIGHT CLASSES! DONT MAKE SINCE TO ME TO TRY AND FILL THE WEIGHT CLASS IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO GET A SEEMINGLY, FAIR, PAIRING BY THE TSSAA.... GOOD LUCK ON THIS ONE!
  4. WOW! THIS IS AS TOUCHY AS I THOUGHT IT SHOULD BE! I WOULD HATE TO BE A 106 TOP 6 KID AND GET A UNLUCKY ROLL OF THE DICE! AND IT WOULD SEEM THAT IF 106 WENT AWAY THE NEXT CLASS TO IT WOULD SUFFER THE SAME??? THIS IS PROVING TO BE UNFAIR TO THE EFFORTS OF THESE YOUNG KIDS THAT DONT GET THE SAME INTEREST IN THE 106! THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AND SOON! WOW!
  5. SEEMS A LITTLE STRANGE THAT TO BE A 106 MEANS THAT ALL YOUR HARD WORK COULD END UP BEING IGNORED BY FACING ANYONE THE FIRST ROUND AND THEN THE SAME YOUR SECOND ROUND! SO LETS SAY A TRUE #4 FACES THE #1 AND THEN THE #3 FOR THE DAY COULD GO HOME AND BE A 2 AND OUT! SEEMS LIKE THE 106 BRACKET SHOULD GET DISCOUNTS ON HOTEL AND GAS MONEY FOR A BLIND CHANCE AT A QUICK TURN AROUND FOR A LONG RIDE HOME.... JUST DOESNT SEEM FAIR TO ME THAT 106 GETS TREATED DIFFERENT THAN OTHER WEIGHT CLASSES WITH RECORDS TO GO BY ???
  6. WOULD THEY NOT SEPARATE BY REGIONAL PLACEMENT ?? 1 VS 4--- 2 VS 3 FROM EACH REGION?? YOU WOULD STILL BE ABLE TO SEED THE BRACKET BY SEPARATION OF THE PREDICTED #1 AND #2 TOP AND BOTTOM OF BRACKET. THEN JUST TAKE OTHER REGIONS AND FILL BY REGIONAL PLACEMENT??? THE REGIONS THAT ARE WITH THE TOP TWO COULD FLIP TO EITHER SIDE AS LONG AS THEY STUCK WITH 1 VS 4 AND 2 VS 3 ?????
  7. BLIND DRAW REALLY STINKS FOR THE 106 CLASS! YOU CAN END UP WITH #1 AND #2 IN FIRST ROUND AND NO WAY FOR TRUE SECOND! SUCH A SHAME TO BLIND DRAW ONLY ONE WEIGHT! I GUESS YOU BETTER BEAT THE MEN TO BE THE MAN AT 106!!!
  8. 106 could be a close one. it is a close score every time but agreed that 138 will be a good one.
  9. DO YOU THINK ANY OF THE REGION 2 KIDS COULD CONTEND AT 106/108?? A/AA OR AAA
  10. What kids are you talking about?
  11. Anyone want to put down predictions?
  12. What teams will be at this event?
  13. What happened to Bray's Rankings?? They just seems to not be updated as much???..
  14. I was hearing that kid a has beaten, within this years comp. season, kid b and or c! All this iformation will be helpfull to tell if kids are seeded correctly or if a mistake has been made! The parents of the kid said that their kid lost out as I saw them leaving. I can only think A. beat the man to be the man or (given a bad draw on random bracketing)---dog eat dog world...lol scary, just if my boys ever compete enough to show a seeding at a tournament....lol
  15. Thanks! That does make since! It is a lot of info to utilize for pairing. It was just VERY big talk in the stands so of course having time between matches, I started looking into what they were talking about and I got so confused and frustrated, I had to stop looking. With that said, I can fully understand why computers do the math! It just seemed, at times, a little odd once you looked at it for a bit but this helps me to understand more. Thanks for the information Mr. ghouse!
  16. Normally, #1 at top #2 at bottom while #3 and #4 split in middle. I have noticed that some seeding is not making since to me. You have kids that should meet in finals but meet in first round or earlier than they should... Just following Track Wrestling Tournaments, you see a close match earlier than the pins all the way to finals and some cases, in the finals! This would be ok if True Second was done. Also some head to head action before tournaments should have kids seeded where they have already beaten some of the seeded ones! Seems like politics!! With all the questions I have had, I asked about it and the tournament dirrector stated that Track only used Track Wrestling info...??? I have heard other parents complian about the same thing when they can clearly see that little Timmy is a #1 and is facing another #1 in first rounds of competition. why is that?? Can someone explain?? I did find out why kids were double FF in 3rd/4th place matches was due to a limit of 5 matches a day. Im catching up but really dont understand not using all stats/head to head and seeding the bracket in what seems to be fair to the kids participating?????.... There is always a seeding meeting right?? This doesnt really apply to my kids due to no wins at head to head nor ranked either but just seemed to me as not the norm.... ???Anyone care to help????
  17. Does anybody have any list of the teams that will be going
  18. So sorry to hear! Many prayers will be said!
