Does anyone there if any seniors this year are going to play college ball and where at?

Think we all agree that WC is the best team this year, obviously. They are headed to the state tournament. Hopefully they'll get a good draw for first round, but you never what can happen at this time of year. It's been fun watching them. Best of luck to them as the represent 9-AAA.

Kenwood couldn't handle the 1-2-2 trap in first half. WC was more disciplined overall. WC had great bench play as well. Williams couldn't be stopped from scoring or rebounding. WC came up with big plays when needed.

Wilson Central with the win. 50-37. Wilson central will host hunters lane Monday at home! Troy Bond always has them ready at this time.

And Anderton received MVP of the tournament.. Williams recieved MVP of district 9-AAA.

I believe ball 9-AAA Teams will win besides gallatin. They can't realt match up with Kenwold at all. WC travels to Henry County. Heard it's a great atmosphere to play in.. Should be a good match up for WC because of there many zone defenses. Should see WC and Station Camp in Semis... That'll be a good fun game to watch. And MJ/Kenwood game could possibly be interesting if MJ brings there "A" game.

WC/MJ game will be on TV tomorrow night! Predicated to have 2500 in attendance for the game.

If Wilson Central wins Tuesday against Portland they will clinch the #1 seed after beating SC last night.

Reed can go for 20 every game when your go to player is a post as well.. But I do agree that he could have those stats. SC and WC play Friday night for the #1 seed. Should be a heck of a game!

Anderton played a decent game. Hit a big half court 3 at half. But Reed carried SC last night.

Reed killed WC last night. SC played harder and deserved that W.

WC lost to Siegel Saturday by 3. Williams had 22. MJ/WC should be a fun game tonight, always is.

Williams for Wilson Central scored 90 points in the last 3 games, including a 40 point game. 17 and 33 in the others. Rosshirt and Palmer both averaged double figures over the holidays as well.

Watch our for Gallatin. They could make a run for it. Wilson Central ended up winning both of their Christmas Tournaments.. Seems like they're starting to play more in sequence. Palmer, Rosshirt, and Williams all averaging double figures. This 2nd half of the season should be interesting how it plays out.

Never said that SC post game was bad. That's their strongest aspect. The guard play is their weekest link and their bench as well. Freshman and middle school basketball is nothing compared to playing at the AAA level so you can't compare that at all. And you're comparing your guards to Beech guards... Not saying too much. Anyone who presses or traps will give SC trouble.

Watched SC play Beech. The reason Beech even stayed in the game is because SC had to sub so much. There depth is awful because when they do sub, it kills them big time.

SC just has no bench. When they sub, is when they will get demolished.

Was a good game thru 3 quarters. Then beech just ran out of gas. SC has a good group of 4 players but have absolutely no depth on the bench, and their guard positions are very shaky and suspect. Any team that traps them and plays fast will win. Beech is the same team from last year, with no bench as well. Gallatin or Hendersonville has a good Chance at beating SC, so don't count them out yet for the 2nd seed of District 9AAA. It'll be a well balanced race for the most part.

Cookeville got dusted by 17 on Tuesday night by Wilson Central. Could of been worse. I see Stone as the #1 in this district.

Wilson Central lost their season opener to Tyner Academy (Chatt.) on Friday 64-45, and proceeded to beat Oakland on Saturday 59-44.

Small schools have good players... Yes. But the level of competition they play is a lot lower. Can't say they're the "top" players of middle TN if they don't play against the best teams/players.
