Jones? Please enlighten me on what Jones has accomplished as a coach?

I am sure that would be great, but right now there is not a quality candidate that you know would last some time. KC is the only proven one.

unfortunately he wont have that. your right, he had a good staff in his Marion days. i love my indians but i am not sure why a good coach would be lured to dunlap. facilities are nice, not kept up like they should be (my opinion), decent young players but not lot great athletes in this area. i myself want someone who will not only compete, but bring back the discipline. someone who will be in Sequatchie for many years.

I find it hard to believe that any current coach that has won a state championship has shown interest or applied for the Sequatchie job.

Sequatchie can't afford a bad hire. Could really set the program back. Not sure what Ken C. has left in the tank but he was very successful in the 1990's. Maybe they can get it done.

Makes for a fun Sequatchie/Marion game next year if he is hired!!

He is retired and no one else is knocking his door down, so I think he will jump at it.

Next years schedule will still be fairly difficult. Community, stone memorial, and silverdale will all be better than Whitwell or Meigs.

Who was dropped

Whitwell dropped Sequatchie. My understanding is they won't play in any sport next year.

No Whitwell this year. Added Stone Memorial and White County I believe. I have also hearn oliver springs, rockwood as options.
