Marion just lost to the soon to be 1A state champions, who beat the 6th ranked team in 3A. I look for Goodpasture to give Trousdale all they want. I was at Marion's game with Trousdale last year. It was never close and could have been worse.

South Pittsburg may be a little bit better overall than Marion but after playing them I am convinced they are a pretty dang good team. I can see the possibility of the upset with this game being played at Marion. I am going on a limb and saying this one wont be decided until late in the fourth.

I say they haven't either and both teams have improved. Last year wasn't close but on the Creekbank funny things happen.

I think it will be closer than the experts think, but I will still take the Pirates.

Probably won't be a lot fun this week for our Indians but we still got playoffs next week!!

We are not very good. Just average. I know which coach you are talking about and his word carries about as much weight as a Washington politician. Our team will be much better once we get some decent assistants on staff.

I just thought they would surely be better based on what you was saying about the schedule. Just not a very good team this year.

What I know is that now that ND has taken recruiting football players seriously they are becoming pretty dang good.

I was at that Middle school game last night and I didn't see much "studding" on either side of the ball. #7 for Jasper was best player on field. Looks like another Middle school championship coming up north to the Indians.

If you are putting that much stock into middle school football then Sequatchie should dominate the future because they have beat the breaks off South Pitt middle last three times they played them. Next Thursday will be four in a row.

No the football team will be there to play your private school, but until you start playing someone like Ensworth, Baylor, Brentwood Academy etc. stop talking your crap. You put together teams and recruit players from all over the place but still continue to play public schools and think you have done something when you win. You should actually be embarrassed to lose to Polk like you did. Bunch of homegrown boys put it on your ringers. It's ridiculous that you can't score more than 10 points with all those athletic recruits you have.

Our girls were going to have 10 players plus the coach out town due to fall break. Notre Dame refused to reschedule so the only option was to forfeit. Don't worry about the football team. They will be there and be ready.

Marion would beat Boyd by at least three touchdowns. I have seen both and it wouldnt be close.

I am sure who ever put the schedule together thought Stone would be a cream puff like they have been in the past.
