  1. I guess there could be different versions of what the definition of "better" is..BUT hands down....Matt Hargis is so much more of a TEAM player and that is why they are winning in the post season and exactly why Halls got beat in the District tournament and why they lost to Bearden tonight in the Region!!!!! If Cameron would "run" his team and share the ball...they would be advancing in the region! Michael Jordan had to learn this...maybe Cameron will too someday!
  2. What a great milestone...congratulations. Scoring is important, but defense wins championships! I watched the Karns/Oak Ridge game and the sophomore from Karns, Megan Randall, had her way with Keke down low! She scored 25 points! Keep up the great scoring and work on the defense! Good Luck!
  3. You had the smartest reply yet for this forum! I would pick Hargis anytime over Sharp for simply one reason........more of a team player and less selfish! Although Hargis needs to polish his sportsmanship, he is more focused on winning....and not his stats!
  4. They fell short by 7 points because their perimeter shooting was not there. They scrapped their way through the game and stayed with Oak Ridge. Don't count this very young team out come tournament time!
  5. I agree! Our 14 year old team didn't even get the three game guarantee...they got one game and then we threw another game together...back to back. No refund either and Mrs. Allen had the nerve to come into the stands to try and collect admissions from our parents! It's not always about the mistakes made my running a tournament, its what you do to make it right! They didn't even attempt to make it right! Needless to say, we won't be back!
  6. Karns finally played up to their potential against Farragut! Fersner scored 27 and Victor Jones scored 25! They rotated 5 in and 5 out and it worked well. They also played and inside/out game.....which was a pleasant surprise! They will need to do that again against Halls tonight in the District tournament.
  7. Jordan Roth was up in the air for a long rebound when a Campbell County guy took his legs from under him. Went down hard and landed on his head. He was having a good game. Two staples in his head, but the hospital confirmed there was not a concussion. It was scary and the video looks even worse! He is a lucky young man. He sat out the Webb game, but was back for Clinton a week later. Thanks for asking!
