  1. I think that MC will take the region this year. If they don't it will most probably be Mt. Pleasant.
  2. I think that they will most definetely make the playoffs. I went to watch one of my nephews in a basketball camp at Eagleville for a week that lasted all day long. Everyday the football team was in the weightroom. So i know that they are strong and are gonna be ready for anybody!
  3. Man guys, chill out now. It's not uncommon for any football team to go against TSSAA rules about practicing in pads. I know that during the 2 week dead period, you will see teams doing stuff all the time!
  4. Neutralobserver your right! I watched MC fall apart after they scored their 10 points. Im sure some of them got the big head and after that Mt. Pleasant thrived on scoring on big plays and they did. If Moore County can stop MP's offense, they will do fine. But i know that will be hard for them to do.
  5. Wholder, do you even get to play? I know i would be as confident as you are if i knew i wouldn't get any blame for losing!
  6. Ok wholder, just wait and see and we will see who gets the last laugh. I know your a player so make sure your ready, b/c you will need to be!
  7. I know that Moore Co. will give MP a run for their money. So MP just needs to "HIDE and watch"
  8. My pick goes to Moore County. The veer offense is starting to click. The offensive line is very strong. As Burley said they have a quick qb and tailback. When Moore County plays Mt. Pleasant, the house is gonna be packed. It will be very hard for other teams to put Moore County down this year! No doubt they will win the region.
  9. Lol, ain't that the truth!
  10. Brandon Wells from Moore County. Weighed 250, played tailback and could fly. Benched 315 when he was in eighth grade. But his grades wasn't good enough to play D1 ball.
  11. Being I am a Moore County fan, I look forward to seeing Mt. Pleasant and Moore County go at it again. Mt. Pleasant will be surprised to see what Moore County runs at them, and i think they will give them a run for their money!
  12. I agree with Greenman, 1A football has changed since the 90's when Trousdale C. was so called "invincible". I dont know why all these teams moving from a higher class to a lower class, think that they are gonna be the best? I dont know what Trousdale and Hampton have, that other teams dont?
  13. I do admit, Mt. Pleasant will have a good team, there is no doubt! And yes they did have a great year last year compared to the others. Coach Smith or whoever ran up the score in every game no matter how bad they were winning. Even when the opponents would put their JV in! But yes i know that he had to be a good coach to have the record that he had. Who are all these GOOD seniors everybody is talkin about that ya'll have. I know yall lost like Dugger, Webster, and alot of the good seniors. I just dont see how Mt. Pleasant is gonna make up for all of the players they lost that started and had a big impact on the game.
  14. Trousdale has a very good qb. He is real thick and he can run. I think Moore C. will make it to the playoffs if they run the veer the way it should be ran. Moore C. has a very good Offensive. They are all strong and quick. I'm anxious to see what happens this year.
  15. Mt. Pleasant may have alot of talent. But they are not disaplined enough to handle teams that are. I mean Mt. Pleasant lost alot of seniors that were very good last year. They could have went all the way but there coach does not disapline them enough to do it. But if he starts, then they will have a good year.
  16. My bad Greenman, i quoted the wrong thing!
  17. Possum, you have no idea what you are talking about. Burley knows what he is talkin about on the veer, they need a power back, they base there offense on their offensive line and they are very effective runnin the ball. You have no idea what the veer is about and how to run it, so keep yourself quiet when it comes to the veer b/c you dont know!
  18. Possum, you have no idea what you are talkin about, Burley is right, Moore C. needs a power back. They run the same offense as Georgia Southern and they are very effective with it. So unless you have seen Moore C. play, stop actin like you know all about the veer b/c you have no idea
  19. I would probably have to say Jesse Ivey for Moore County, but one of the best freshman i've ever seen is Tyler Jean! Averages 18 points a game as a freshman!
