Baylor head coach needs to be fired on the spot. I have rarely seen a game blown that bad in a while. He went away totally from what got him the 21-7 lead to begin with and it let McCallie back in the game. Just some stupid coaching by Baylor HC even though I was hoping McCallie would win.
He won their state championship. It is amazing the level of "dunce" that can happen in some of these games.

The best part is one of them has a sister at DCA
Was this family previously at Two Rivers or Donelson Middle? McGavock to NCS transfer should raise eyebrows here.
Hopefully this family can come together during the holidays as they are spread out during the season.

Excited to see 2 Chattanooga Teams battling out again.
Taking Baylor for the title, but think it will be a great game.

if brothers losses another chance at a gold ball a letter will be on his desk december 9th…. he should have won 4 straight with that guy at qb…. jp2 part 2…. got to look yourself in the mirror at some point….
Tennessean article today talks about 4 impact transfers. Amazing all of those guys found their way to West Nashville their junior season. Looks like NCS had some open educational opportunities in the junior class.
Hope they are attending Western Hills C of C!

Watching Macon get to the ship gives me hope that the Jackets can get it turned around.

What a classic.
The 4A ship will be the most interesting to follow.

What a complete meltdown for the Rebels.

What happens to the schools that are not successful? Do they play in the status quo league?

In fairness, no one has grown more to compete the past 25 years better than CPA.

Agreed. I guess that is what seems obvious. My question is more why is that? Honest question as not from here so prob don't know the history.
CPA forced the entire D1 and DII model to change. Giving them credit, they went with 2 young coaches in football and men's basketball at the time that were top notch in both sports before they came over to D2 full-time. Basketball they probably pushed to the limit more than football.

The D2AAA schedules are out, and it looks to me like there were no favors done for CPA. First, they were forced to move up with a rule that only applied to one sport, in one division, and the reality is only one school. Then they were placed in the east with Ensworth, Baylor, and Mccallie. Next there one non-region game is MUS so travel to Memphis and lastly there scheduled D2AA opponent is BGA who is in the state finals in year 1 and only getting better.
Just on the outside looking in it seems as if this was a giant, we will show you by the board. It will be said that everyone has to play this schedule every few years. Well CPA did not choose to move up and year 1 to give them the toughest schedule in the entire division hardly seems like a coincidence. But perhaps it is and that's just how it lined up.
Will be interesting to see what changes to the program CPA makes if any.
Nobody is going to cry for CPA.

If D1 baseball talent mattered in football Loretto would be in an alcoa like run in 2A football. Same with eagleville in 1A
until we get some lineman the size of Riverside the last few years or milan this year we are gonna stay right where we are. Which is still better than 95% of the West Tennessee
And top facilities?? have you seen our weight room and locker room??Football stadium and scoreboard are top notch is what I was referencing.
Locker Room/Weight Room do need a face lift.

sorry let me rephrase for you @CPA4Evercant wait till cpa and ingle (who is still waiting for that mba job to open up) comes up to d2aaa and has to play some real opponents where they don’t reach the state championship 7 times in a row…. just shows something needs to be done…..
@CPA4Ever - what are basketball prospects? Does Coach Maddux need to be brought back? -

The last three
Huntingdon has had 2 D1 baseball players at QB a majority of the last decade plus Pearson and Warbritton. Most 2A schools would be lucky to have 1 of those in 20 years.
The execution and conservative playcalling in the playoff is mind boggling. They have the best facility in West TN. Its time to win.

This is an old school East TN matchup.

Get over it, you seriously think we’re scared of beech?
Believe MJ is scared of scheduling and proof of that is the last 5-7 seasons of Metro Championships. -
Still hard to believe that 2003 was the last championship the last 20 years.

Depressing evening for the Stangs. Where do we go from here? A decade + of generational talent…….

MBA requires too much work. They don't have the "Sit in the chair" gigs these other schools have.
