I believe CAK, Elizabethton, Fulton, and Grainger will battle it out for a ticket to state. It all comes down to winning region and getting sectional at home.
I just heard that Grainger and Greeneville advanced to play each other in tourney. Who will be the pitching matchups for this game? With the double elimination format, will each put their best pitcher on the mound?
I thought some may have been played on Saturday. The rain is here again and probably will postpone some district games on Monday. I know the IMAC has quite a few games scheduled for this last week. Does anyone have an update on the injured Greeneville pitcher?
I believe it will be a dogfight until the end. The West Greene upset of Greeneville will make it interesting during this last week. Running out of pitching because of makeups will be the biggest concern. Who has the deepest rotation out there in the BRAC?
I guess with this weather no district games will be played. So far Greeneville and South Greene have swept Chucky Doak. Grainger is right behind with a 2-1 record. If this weather pattern continues district wins could depend on much pitching each team has. Which teams have the most pitchers ready for this season?
A friend was at last nights game and said the Hooper girl controlled the game. He also mentioned the starting lineup had 3 sophomores and 1 freshman. My question is what class is the other starter in this year? It really sounds like they will be in state tournament for a while.
I talked to a local reporter this weekend and he mentioned that Seymour would be tough, but to not forget Jeff Co because of their top two pitchers. The battle for the top of the IMAC will be fun this season.
