My take on 11a First round #2 Sante Fe over #7 Culleoka #3 Mount Pleasant over #6 Hampshire #4 Cornersville over #5 CA could go either way Second round Richland over Cornersville Mount pleasant over Sante Fe Finals Richland over Mount Pleasant. Of course this is subject to change

I agree vandychris that based on what's been shown so far 11a could go 0 for 4 in the region, but there are a couple of teams capable of winning a game or two in the region, just depends on which teams show up.

This website has that information. If you click on the girls basketball news it will have columns on the right side of page with most offense and best defense. Not sure how accurate it is as I am sure its just based in what people report.

I think it was actually supposed to be held at Cornersville but they decided not to do the region and district tournament in the same year. You are correct about the Columbia Academy gym, it is very nice.

Columbia Academy did get a new gym,but I believe Mt. Pleasant is hosting the regionals.

Richland lost some very good players to graduation, so not sure how they will look.

Best I can remember when we played Forrest in substate last year they were pretty young. They should be solid.

With softball season right around the corner, who would be everyone's favorite in single a to make it to Murfreesboro this year.

Looks like 11a regular season will come down to Sante Fe and Richland. They play Thursday night and are currently tied with 1 loss each. The tournament should be a good one. I see Richland,Sante Fe,Mt. Pleasant and either Columbia Academy or Cornersville advancing to the region. The question will be can any of the 11a teams pull any upsets in the region not sure, but time will tell.

Summertown won by 6 over Richland. Not sure about the others

We played Huntland Monday night and lost to them in overtime. They have 1 really good player and a decent supporting cast. Should be able to pull a upset or 2 in 9a.

Seen this team at Riverdale today. To say they are loaded is an understatement. I would bet they would beat most cc teams. The freshman point guard is the real deal for sure.

Giles county should be really good. Saw Spring Hill yesterday in a scrimmage and they are big and athletic so they should be pretty good as well. Not sure about any others.

Houston will be tough to beat. Cornersville will be really young.

Believe 11a will be better this year with the addition of some new coaches at Mt.Pleasant and CA. Should be a more competitive district this year. Do believe Richland, Mt. Pleasant,Sante Fe,and Cornersville will advance to region As for 12a I believe Wayne County will be the top dog this year but Collinwood Summertown and Loretto will also be good as usual. Season is just around the corner so we will find out soon.
