  1. Fairview beats Greenbriar and takes 3rd. So much for Greenbriar being “hands down the best” as someone said earlier. Was a great run but just couldn’t get it done. Congrats to Fairview. Big win.
  2. The Bruins have been solid all year. I predicted them to be a top 6 team early on and now they are proving it. Not sure what happened with Arlington. But the way they wrestled Cleveland and the way Brentwood is wrestling, I’ll take Brentwood as well. As far as the other side goes, between Wilson Central and the Hill/Heritage loser, it’s anyones game. All 3 have looked great.
  3. Cleveland handles Arlington. Seemed like Arlington was missing some guys. Not sure what was goin on there. Science Hill and Heritage are neck and neck. Brentwood-Beech will come down to the last match. It will favor Brentwood heavily. Wilson Central is laying it on Soddy. Greenbriar and Fairview are in a close one for 3rd in A/AA. And Father Ryan and McCallie both rolling. Brentwood pins the last 4 matches to complete the comeback. They get Arlington for a spot on the podium.
  4. In A/AA Greenbriar beats Nolensville to advance to the 3rd/4th place match. They will get either Hixson or Fairview. Looks like that match will come down to the wire. Hixson started strong but Fairview has battled back to take a 34-30 lead with 2 matches left update: now 34-33 Fairview with 1 match left update: Fairview pins at 195 to win and advance to face Greenbriar for 3rd
  5. In the blood rounds for AAA it will be Beech vs Brentwood and Soddy vs Wilson Central. 2 juicy matchups. The winner of the latter likely gets a match they will like with Heritage. Out of the 4 semi finalists, that’s who id say is #4. Winnable match for both Soddy and Wilson. Beech-Brentwood winner likely gets Arlington. Both would be a close match. Some good wrestling coming up
  6. Posted in the wrong thread lol. Oops
  7. Thank you. You’re the only one giving Brentwood the respect they earned. I’m not even a Brentwood fan.. I just saw how good they were and nobody wanted to listen. Then they prove it and beat Soddy and everyone has an excuse as to why Soddy lost. Just give Brentwood respect and get over yourselves. That’s all I’m saying. It’s really tiring and annoying when all we hear about is Region 4 and how good they are. Cool. I get that. Cleveland probably will win and there’s no denying that regions utter dominance for a long time. But when one of yours loses, just admit it wasn’t their day and move on. Instead of coming up with a million excuses as to why they lost. Good luck to everyone today. Really interested in that Science Hill-Heritage match. Normally I’d say the Hill wins handily but Heritage came to wrestle and have a lot in the tank. Will be a fun one for sure
  8. Brentwood did not get lucky. They were the better team and they won. End of story. Y’all need to seriously shut up with all this talk about Soddy being all that and a bag of chips and only lose when it’s luck or someone else’s fault. Take some dang responsibility and give the team that beat you some credit for once in your life’s. Literally that’s all I hear on these boards...Cleveland this, Soddy that, Bradley this, region 4 that. If you win you talk trash about how high and mighty you are. If you lose all you talk about is, ahhh they got lucky. Or they cheated. Or the refs sucked. Just stop. For once just give credit to the team that beat you instead of coming up with excuses.
  9. They look strong. Won’t get by the Hill I don’t think but will be a favorite to place now
  10. AAA semis are set. Cleveland gets tested but passes against Wilson Central. Arlington wins a war with Blackman. Heritage upends Brentwood pretty handily Science Hill slides past Beech semis are set. Cleveland vs Arligton Heritage vs Science Hill
  11. Signal beats Fairview and Gibbs survives against Greenbriar. Signal-Gibbs in the A/AA final. The Bros slip past McCallie and Baylor stomps Ryan. Bros-Baylor D2 final. That will be a lot of fun
  12. Signal Mountain gets it done. A/AA results: Signal Mountain over Greeneville 45-23 Fairview over Nolensville 38-34 Gibbs over Hixson 40-27 Greenbriar over Alcoa 48-25 Semis are set. Signal vs Fairview and Gibbs vs Greenbriar
  13. Gibbs and Greenbriar advance. Fairview takes out Nolensville. Signal has Greeneville on the ropes. 3 matches to go and it’s 33-17. Greeneville has to win the last 3 matches with big bonus points. If signal holds on, we will have a Signal-Fairview semi. One of those 2 would make the finals. Who could’ve predicted that. I love it! Underdogs for the win! also D2 went chalk. No surprises.
  14. Well ya see, funny thing is, he did get pinned. It happened. And it won’t change. How about we give credit to Brentwood instead of making this about what Soddy didn’t do. Never ceases to amaze me how when there’s a big win for a team, all people wanna talk about is the team that lost. Soddy lost. That’s it. Get over it. Talk about Brentwood. This is a huge win for the program. Stop making it about Soddy losing and make it about Brentwood winning. Give them the respect they deserve
  15. I tried to tell y’all Brentwood was forreal!
  16. AAA 1st round results Cleveland over Centennial 65-3 Wilson Central over William Blount 52-15 Blackman over Dobyns Bennett 39-36 Arlington over Anderson Co. 48-36 (lots of forfeits) Brentwood over Soddy 36-30 Heritage over Houston 49-22 Beech over Halls 38-34 Science Hill over Oakland 55-21
  17. Brentwood bumps Coffey to heavy and he gets the pin to seal it! Brentwood wins!
  18. Hughes with a big pin at heavy wins it foR Blackman. Tre Bates likewise pins for Beech to give them the win over halls. Brentwood Up 30-24 with 2 matches left.
  19. Sinjin Noga dec Dawson Satterfield 4-0. Blackman Up 33-30 with 2 matches left. Hayden Maynor with a big win for Soddy over Colby Finch. But Brentwood answers with a pin. They lead 24-12 Beech Up 32-31. With 285 and 106 left.
  20. Wilson getting pinned is huge. Let’s see if the Bruins can finish. It will come down to the wire. Looks like Halls-Beech will come down to the wire as well. And Blackman-Dobyns. Some good opening round matches
  21. Noah Horse majors Ian Morgan. Good start for Beech. Arligton is rolllllllling. Dobyns Bennett came out firing against Blackman. Jacob Manuel (Houston) majored Vili Bussey (Heritage). I think someone warned us about this Manuel kid.
  22. They also have the option of a one month pass for 9.95. that would get you Duals and traditional state. Then you just cancel before it renews
