Those scores are accurate and unicoi was ahead of betsys 3rd string when i left.elizabethton pulled their starters when they got down 14 to 0 against south and they didnt come back on the field for unicoi.

The 3RC Jamboree is this Friday night at Elizabethton, I'm not sure what time it starts but I know the matchups will be the week 10 matchups with Betsy playing 2 of the quarters.

south looked good. scored every drive with the staters and the starters also held crockett without a 1st down. i think it was 5 to 0 then the backups came in and it ended up 6 to 1 or2. Souths running game looked much improved and passed well to. crockett played hard but were just outmanned last night.

Elizabethton will be tough, no doubt about it but "smash" South and North. I will be shocked if Betsy "smashes" South.

OldDoc, I'm pretty sure that South played Greenville with freshmen and a few sophomores (most of last years sophomores saw extensive varsity playing time and did not participate). Betsy, Greeneville and South should all have a good season. Can't wait for August!!

Shipley looked impressive this spring. I look for him to have a good year on both sides of the ball.

I heard Begley was out with an ACL.

I agree, I was impressed with the physicality and agressiveness of the defense more than anything. Most of the skill players saw plenty of action as sophomores last season which will help out this season. Should be an exciting next couple of years.

I heard the scrimmages this spring are D-B and Central. D-B should be a good measuring stick for where we will be this fall.
