  1. Blount County sure has grown since then. Lot of people staying now.
  2. Sounds like y'all had a lot of dads and uncles to current/recent Maryville players on that team.

  4. Actually I was alive when that game happened. LOL And I believe it. Stuff happens behind the curtain everywhere.
  5. I gotta say that's one bada## minivan. ðŸ‘
  6. You minivan driving soccer mom you. 😂
  7. That and Alcoa-Maryville 2010 rank right up there. To be honest, between those 2 games I'd have to say the OR-Central game was better. I have to rank a state playoff semifinal ahead of a regular season game (much more at stake). One could argue that the OR-Central semifinal game WAS the Class AAA state championship (even though we'll never know how Central-Gallatin would've turned out).
  8. I see. Helton was solid in the time he did play football at UT. Thanks for clearing that up.
  9. Nope, not when you have a back like Summers. So now the question remains: should Summers have won Mr. Football instead of Todd Helton? You could probably argue either way and be right.
  10. You're correct. That was also WB's first winning season. And I would believe that about Summers. These 'Cats were good.
  11. Gallatin learned from it tho. Don't worry. Your 25-year anniversary is only a year away.
  12. First Central game had 2 asterisks (regular season), and the second one had 3. That's why I put them there.
  13. Crazy as it seems, it's been a quarter century since this team took the field. Feel old yet, SweetScience?
