I am just saying if Wayne County had taken the lead when it was 19-14 I don't think Riverside would have won. It wasn't domination because as a Panther fan myself, I was worried. If I am worried, it isn't domination. Riverside lucked up with key turnovers by Wayne County.

If Wayne County fans are most excited about the defense they will be highly disappointed this year. Far as hitting and being physical, Riverside was most physical, better executed, and grinded Wayne County out. Far as overall coaching, Riverside was out coached, but Wayne County had too many mistakes. Seems that was the Cats game to win but couldn't take it. Also seemed like Riverside coach wasn't really worried about putting the game away since he put in their freshman qb for a whole series when the game could have been out of reach for the Cats if #3 Ward would have stayed in the game. I expect Riverside to have about the same year as last year and maybe better. Wayne County about the same as last year or worse! Good luck to both! BTW Riverside will get killed by Lexington next week! ha

Congratulations to Friendship and Silverdale!!! As Riverside's reign at the championship is over, In my opinion their trips to state will end this year. I do not know of any team in single A that can match their 5 year run at state though 166 wins and 27 losses in 5 years at winning percentage of .860 3 consecutive titles (2010, 2011, 2012) 1 Runner Up (2009) Final Four (2013) Riverside Fans and players keep your heads up as your team has been one of the best to come through Murfreesboro in a 5 year span like that!! Again congrats to all 8 teams on a great year!!!

Yeah, only difference between FC 2 yrs ago, and Riverside last year is that Riverside came out of the losers bracket and still won state! It is really hard to make it out the losers bracket either way you look at it so making it to the ship is an accomplishment within itself, win or lose!

Riverside wins 12-9 in 8 innings! It will be next to impossible for Riverside to beat Silverdale twice because pitching is definitely dry for them! Congrats Summertown, class act and 2 awesome games played against Riverside this year!

In the top bracket I dont think anyone wouldve been surprised if any of those 4 teams won and with the four teams in the bottom bracket the FCS game wouldve been the only shock if hill did win! I dont really know, but I would say it is a coin flip. Just a guess.
