Please share with me the name of an association that does not require dues/funding. I just do not understand all the negative comments in regards to the Coaches Association. Middle Tennessee has run one for several years naming their All Stars without rebuttal or criticism. I wish people would encourage their Coaches to participate and help build the organization. Girls sports in general need all the help/recognition they can get.

Region 2 played region 4 1st day last year as well? Is the "draw' based on win loss record or is it a blind draw?

Does anyone know how the 8 teams are paired initially at the state tournament?

Maryville will be playing at Disney this year during that time. As a parent/fan I am sorry we will not be there. The Commando is by far the best High School Tournament in the State and is a great preview to the State Tourney in May!

Clarksville over Maryville 6 to 5 in 11 innings. Good luck to those that remain! We have seen some good softball and some horrible fans. Always an adventure though.

Smyrna beat Maryville 2 to 1 in 10 innings. Great game both teams played great. Congrats to Smyrna! See ya in the championship, 2nd game will be needed:).

It was a good game both teams fought hard! Boone fans were very classy and it was a pleasure to host them!

Having seen both play against Maryville, I would choose Coffee County 6 over Riverdale 5. Maryville lost to Coffe County 2 to 1 and beat Riverdale 9 to 6. Both are great teams and that is gonna be one heck of a game! good luck to both.
