After watching both games Tuesday, I didn't see this outcome at all. Congrats to WC and way to represent 9AAA. I've stayed away from all the smack talk and weak district talk but good luck to both teams Monday night! I'm glad 9AAA has bragging rights as region champs. I guess the win makes the Bison look a little better, lol. However, they're probably still the third best team that played in the semis. However, the future looks bright for SC. Thanks to everyone for posting throughout the year; it's been fun.

Looks like we had some great first round games. What are the predictions for Tuesday? I like where the Bison sit here with WC. They lost the last time out to the Wildcats by 31 so they've got nothing to lose. Their young guys are getting experience for the future and this could be the end of the road for all the Central seniors. I like the Bison on a neutral court. MJ might be a little overmatched against Kenwood. The game will be decided in the fourth quarter. Both #1's will meet Thursday night at Rossview.

Here are my first round perdictions: SC over Springfield Wilson Central over HC West Creek over MJ Kewood over Gallatin The Central/Henry County matchup is very interesting! The long travel for the Wildcats certainly isn't any fun and could play into the outcome of the game. However, I still believe WC is the better team. I don't think MJ has the athletes to beat West Creek. MJ's guards are shaky with pressure and they are sure to see it against WC. I think the two #1's will take care of business on their home floors.

The Bison have flown under the radar after their 10-0 start. Missing 2 starters over their 3 games before Christmas (0-3) hurt and losing a few keys players (who didn't wanna be played behind freshmen) hurt but the Bison are peaking. This is the time when you want your team to be playing well and hope they play their best. I like the Bison to win the title tonight.

Station Camp/Gallatin round 3 tomorrow. It should be a good one. Go bison.

Not a whole lot of chatter from Green Wave people tonight!! Honestly, if you had to ask the coaches, some higher seeds didn't get the matchups they like in the tourney. SC would love not to have to play Hendersonville again and the same can be said for MJ/Beech and Gallatin/Lebanon. These coaches wouldn't ever admit to it but 2-4 could all be headed home after round one. I think WC, SC, MJ, and Beech will play in the semis with a WC/SC final. I would love to hear other predictions! Good luck to all eight teams.

I don't put a whole lot of stock into someone who takes up for Portland and doesn't even know where their best player played college.... Now, should be a heck of game at Gallatin Friday night. Hope the Bison play better this time around.

Maybe I'm bias but Shi'vonta Perry is better than Chowbay and especially better than Braden White. White loves to drive and throw it up at the basket, drawing fouls flopping all over the place. Can't really disagree with you anywhere else but Chowbay takes too many ill-advised shots for me and doesn't defend very well.

How do y'all see the district finishing out! WC, SC, MJ, and Gallatin all with a chance to win this thing! I know the Bison finish with Lebanon, WC, MJ, and Gallatin. How do they other top teams close with. Also, Hendersonville will beat someone before this is all over. Maybe WC tomorrow night or someone in the tourney. They're the best 1-8 district team I've seen.

Bison finish week 3-0 with 55-30 win at Portland. SC right back in the thick of things.

SC plays at Portland today at 1:30. Quick turnaround for both teams.

Central beat Beech 49-35.

Station Camp at Portland has been canceled. All other games are on as planned as of now.

After seeing these teams play, I've got no argument with your starting 5. This district is crazy! SC still has to play WC twice, with a makeup game at WC this coming Wednesday. The young Bison are going through some growing pains but they'll be ok. This is going to be a wild finish.

Wilson County has closed schools for Monday and Tuesday. The Bison are supposed to travel to WC but that could change. Keep us posted on game changes. Stay warm.

Let's respect our opponent and accuse them of cheating, recruiting, etc. I hope y'all aren't teaching that at GHS, it got y'all nowhere! I can play this game all night!

Lets just get to the bottom of this! We all know it's much better to be a Bison than a Green Wave!

Bo Hodges, a freshmen, did a great job handling the pressure of the Blue Devils and defending McMurry. McMurry finished the game with 4 points, never got a rhythm. The Bison young guards keep getting better each night out.

Calloway County and Graves County, both from KY, played for the region title last year, combined 14-1 when the Bison played them in the same day. Also, Ravenwood is better than any team Gallatin played over the break.

Wilson Central wasn't tested at all in their last tourney! Didn't really play anyone.

The bison led by as many as 20 in the second half today. The FS made it tight late with some tough shots and untimely turnovers by the Bison. SC has a tough one Monday against Centennial at 2:30.
