Just curious about the NCWA teams in TN obviously alot of solid guys go this route and Id really like to see what kind of line ups these teams produce?

Is Begley the only region 1 graduate wrestling at the college level? Just curious.

Looks like a real solid team. Not sure what kind of noise they will make in Tulsa. Not surprised to see Broyles at 70 either. He was cutting a ton of weight in season according to the region 1 thread. Sammy Evans will do well along with Garrison and Navarro. Solid team but I just dont see a team trophy here. Im not down playing their talents. The team is stacked from top to bottom but outside of TN is a whole new story. Im also big on Cyree I believe he will wake a few people up throughout the tournament. Very disappointed Solomon wont be on the team. One of my favorites to watch.

With the tournament a month away you're bound to have these spots filled. If not it shows how poor participation is in freestyle and greco and that is very disappointing.

He should have been at 160 if you ask me but its over now. To be honest he looked very good at the brawl in the hall back in January and stuck someone who majored Johnson. He ended up losing something like 8-6 in the finals. Either way he didn't look the same at regions by any means. Maybe the weight cut did end up getting to him but he was definitely hurting at regions.

He wrestled through the region and state tournaments with that? Wow. That explains his performance at both. Maybe somewhere like mtsu will pick him up!

Anyone ever hear the extent of Broyles injury? Would like to hear all is well and hope continues wrestling through college!

Injury and weight cut got the best of him if you ask me. Was told he looked very very tough at Jeff CO's practice tonight.

After writing the 52 bracket out and making predictions. I could for sure see Broyles taking 3-6 but beating Hamilton is out of the question.

looked like he's caught the injury bug. Didn't look like himself at all in the semis and consi semis. I hope he's okay for state. Really tough kid.

Anyone else want to voice their opinions on indvidual regions? I'd like to see who everyone has in the finals and maybe even winning. Beech vs DB in the first round at state will be good. Begley vs King will be great at 160.

Picked Blanco strictly off of experience here. I was definitely impressed with Hux last year not so much this year. May be the sickness is why. Definitely can't count Jeffers out against anyone just don't see him being able to beat Broyles. It'll be a decent match. Remember Broyles has wrestled Begley the past 2 seasons in the finals. Last year he went up to 60 simply for the challenge. IMO wasn't his best move. Nguyen is good but English is just too much of an athlete for him. They are technically equal.

I wasn't thinking and forgot about Broyles at 52 I keep thinking he graduated for some reason. I watched Jeffers at region duals and I really don't see him beating Broyles. Broyles will probably get the 1 seed at 52. 106-Nelson 113-Bynum 120-Blanco 126-Hux still not impressed 132-Hurley 138-Pendley/Carpentre 145-Henley 152-Broyles 160-Begley 170-Dean 182-English 195-Bagley 220-Hagerman 285-Ruth/Townsend My picks to win all should be pretty cut and dry not sure on 138 and 285.

No Johnson from THS in the finals at 152 with Jeffers? Heard English dropped and so did Latham. Ruth should beat Townsend soundly. I'm personally not impressed with Hux or Yother at 126.

who are your favorites to win exactly baller? I may have been a little over board saying Carpentre should be the region champ. Weight is a toss up to me.

How will there be 8 man brackets with 10 teams in the region?

Pendley is a fine wrestler. I was simply stating this title is not as much of a lock as everyone thinks. This weight is loaded. 2x state qualifier Landon Porter won't be seeded according to results.

You guys obviously didn't see Carpentre beat Josh Vance from Greenville 7-3. This kid is a hammer.
