Greenfield and Dresden are the front runners In 13A, but I think Gleason and Union City will give everybody problems this season. Gleason might have the best Single A coach in west TN seeing how they were able to beat Greenfield in the District Championship game last season. UC played a lot of youth last season mostly freshmen and sophomores. They will be matchup problems with their size and athleticism this season. This is just my opinions. If Greenfield can get some quality play from their role players everyone they play this season will be in serious trouble with those two Moore and Darby on the floor. Dresden will always be solid and well coached. Games between the top four teams in 13A will be battles every night.

I like how UC is always the not good enough but what these girls have kept doing is knocking them off one at a time. People have been picking against them all season so this talk is nothing new. They just handle it on the floor as ball players. Looking for them to shut some people up this year. Sounds like they should be the fav to win state this year I like our girls chances whoever they play wherever they play them. I guess if GC doesn't upset UC and win the region they should just pack it up and fold up the tents because there season is done right!

You know I wonder the teams they were playing against that tried these junk defenses. Middleton, GC, and UC will put players on the floor who will one be able to execute these defenses and also put other D1 worthy athletes on the floor that can match abilities from the scores of your games listed the talent level is horrible. If she can do the same thing against the 15A teams in the regional tourney then we will need to be concerned about her and Oakhaven.

In no way diminishing the ability of Middleton or the size they have I truly believe they are a good team. The two players that you made mention of was on the team last year when they lost to UC and this loss came with Amber Fair on the sideline watching. She is also is a Union signee. We also lost Kealie Reaves our starting guard to a ACL tear in the first qtr of that same game. UC definitely has more weapons than Middleton, and I disagree with the statement that Middleton can match UC spot for spot. Not with Hudson at the point, R. Fair at the SG, A. Fair at the SF, and Nettles at the five with three on the bench who would start on any A team in west TN ready to come in and play. Bottom line they can't match up and guard everything somebody will be open. Lastly no one on this Middleton team is even being mentioned for a Miss Basketball nominee. I just look for UC to take care of business and get another home Sub-State game and advance to the Glass house. It's really sad that someone won't get to go to the Glass house, only time will tell. If UC can stay healthy they have a real good shot at winning it all.

You are free to pull for who ever you like just thought it was odd that someone who can't seem to win made it a point to take shots at a team trying to win. The boys have plenty to be arrogant about when they have haters like you so. I guess the UC arrogance and your constant bulletin board material makes for a match made in heaven. We all have a role to play no matter how small that may be.

What is your problem with Union City? Why are you so against them? Your words are always so very negative as it pertains against them it's not like they have won everything for ever, they are just becoming a quality team. Yet you seem to align yourself with anyone who UC plays regardless of who that may be. Why is that?

I think GC will have something to say about one of those teams. I think they can beat either of those teams, and possibly a UC vs GC State Championship Game.

I think they can run the table like UC boys 37-0 and the Gibson Co girls of the past. They don't need to loose to play harder they just need some competition. Watch and see how well they play against Gibson Co Tuesday night.

Not trying to make anyone feel hunted but UC could have played better just wanted that to be know because it sounded like GC fans were blaming the loss on poor shooting that wouldn't happen again and also it was made to sound like UC played a great offensive game. Amber has actually played with them this summer and has practiced all year. She will be ready and she will be a player not jus a body. I really wish the best for GC just don't want the story to be half told.

I'm wondering if u saw the easy shots UC missed? They missed a ton of them as well. I know y'all really want everyone to know that GC hasn't looked that bad all season but they haven't seen that type of defense and probably won't again until we play again. UC didn't cross every t or dot every I. What happened to that killer defense y'all had been playing all season long. We could have shot the ball much better that game and then if would have been even worse. We both played sub par games offensively but the UC defense has been consistent. UC still has along way to go to win it all. The reason y'all lost by 20 is because GC had it fixed in their mind to play their style of ball instead of taking a page from the teams who had already played UC for the past few years and pack it in. Trouble with that is UC has learned from seeing that and have found out how to over come that as well. So this will be a fact Amber Fair will be back next time UC and GC hook up. What are yall going to do then. Your coach should have seen this coming he's been at half the games UC played thus year I guess seeing is not always believing.
