Truthfully I don't ever consider Westview winning ever an upset. It is truly one of the most traditional winning programs in the West and that is in large part to what Coach Coady has done there in his 20+ tenure. Go Chargers I will take them by 10

Westview has not been down for 10 years. They have been down for about 5. I am assuming and you have forgot about Markei Guy and them beating Chris Donald and Boo Weathers. Also When Evans was there after that I remember him housing the opening kickoff and beginning the route of Huntingdon that year as well. After that Westview has been below average and Huntingdon has climbed to success. But Facts are Facts this is an old rivalry that is not quite what it used to be and both teams play a physical smash mouth type of football. It should be a really good game and in my opinion this comes down to whoever limits turnovers and makes the least mistakes especially with Beale out for the Chargers. Should be a great game and good luck to all.

You have got to be kidding me if you think Westview will not beat Dresden for 20 years, that statement is a joke in itself so lets not get carried away. Having said that my hat is off to Dresden for their success for the past 2 seasons but Westview is finally getting athletes back in the football program which they have been seriously lacking. They will start to look more like the Westview teams of old. It used to be that Dresden only beat Westview once every 10 or 15 years so I would not be surprised to see that scenario back pretty soon. Its just the way it works when its 3A vs. 1A. As far as your coaches I will have to agree that they will not be there 20 years they will move onto bigger and better schools its just the way high school football works with success. I wish best of luck to both programs. I could only imagine what a county team would look like with Westview and Dresden combined, it would be very interesting.

Westview should be much better this year and I honestly don't see Dresden winning this game. They are starting a freshman at quarterback which no matter how good he was in middle school its still high school and the game speed is very different. Its a hostile environment with the rivalry on the line and the Chargers are under enormous pressure from the community to beat Dresden after losses to them for two consecutive years which no offense but is embarrassing to Martin. With the help of the younger Beale player at running back and the play of Brown, Older Beale, Castleman, Pitcher, and the Line play the Chargers should win this with ease. However you cant count Dresden out mainly because of recent success and the if they let them hang around the can slip in and steal a victory. Having said that I would dare to say that if Westview loses to Dresden and has another year like last year then there is a good possibility of a coaching change on the horizon. Facts are Facts

I heard Bruceton was much improved this year so I wouldn't expect them to roll over for anyone. Crockett however should roll over Mckenzie due to the talent they have and having Coach Ward at the helm is a big plus. The other two games are toss ups especially if Dyersburg has that many people out.
