I assume you mean you won't have good depth at the qb spot. Don't like to hear about kids getting hurt. Cheatham has a few injuries themselves. They'll be short a few starters for a while but that's football I guess.

Will the yellow jackets be bringing the loud team mom this year? Her last visit to Ashland City almost got ugly. Some of our more "red" fans were looking for her after the game. Shes funny but loud

Should be much better than last year. The Cheatham coaches were just a few weeks into their jobs and Fairview was loaded with talent. Fairview will still be much faster than Cheatham but not as overflowing with skill players. I'm looking forward to it.

Sounds like Stewart has the ball rolling. Its hard to stop a faster team like kenwood but playing well against Harpeth is a good sign. Athletically they match up better with the Indians. I heard Stewart is running the spread. I'm guessing them and Harpeth had the balls flying around. Glad to hear no one got hurt and the teams played well

I'm not putting either Hickman school above Fairview. All they need is some protection and that qb will eat up a defense. Lost a lot of weapons but a good qb makes the wr's better. But I could be wrong and he could lead the state in int's this year.

Cheatham scrimmaged Montgomery Central Friday night. M Central has a pretty good qb. They play hard. Seemed pretty even to me but hard to tell when they do the 10 and 10 rather than down and distance.

How'd the scrimmage go?

With Greenbrier and White House having 80-90 players I'm kind of shocked Cheatham can hang with them. Especially at the end of the season when backups play a bigger role due to injuries and kids just being worn out from the season

Cheatham will need to replace the entire offensive backfield, all the linebackers, and Brett Beamer will be the only returning DB. With only about 35 players and 3 coaches on the team Cheatham will need to play tough. Luckily they're usually a pretty tough bunch.

I agree but some coaches just aren't real aggressive. Mintz seems to be more of a methodical style coach. Not going take a lot of chances in the offense or defense.

Cheatham will need to be more diverse this year. Without Sweat they can't rely on 25-30 carries from the I-back. Better open it up a bit. Their defense had trouble getting pressure last year. That could be a major issue against the offenses they'll face

Considering I'm one of the people that didn't want you around the kids I doubt I'm misinformed. As for your beef it sounds like you don't care got the current staff at Cheatham. Getting hired a month before the season starts didn't help them any but I think they'll do fine. I hope for the best for Jackson and Fairview. He walked into a well coached program.

So are the "puppets" the players that work hard no matter what goes on at the board or the coaches that work long hours for the players? Or are you a Cheatham hater because parents didn't want you coaching their kids anymore?
