Now that is not true, I have not said anything about my idol, and I have talked about many things on here, like CRAMPS, and players faking injuries just to get out of beat down games. I have talked about Hurricanes and I have talked about numbers...you know 35-34 and 2-0 or 1-1. I have talked about Coach Otis being on here under the name choctaw60. I have talked about winners and losers. Did I mention CRAMPS, I have talked about medication (midal) to help with cramps. And you are right, I do sit infront of a keyboard but the lights are on because I do not want to go blind. I am not going to lie and say that I am a football mastermind, I played growing up and in high school but did not play in college. Just for the record, I started for a high school team in Colorado that had a winning record which is more than any recent WB player can say. Even though I am not a football guru, I know when one team beats another team and when a player leaves the game because they do not want anymore.

Very true gobears. Brewer is scary enough with one week. Last year SC came out flat and then I think Brewer had a team bonding moment and wham they geared it up for a 49-0 win. Hope we can keep it closer than that this year.

My friend was at that game and he said it was crazy awesome. SC has a reputation of playing hard until the final whistle. Oh Coach Brewer must be deaf because he never hears the fat lady singing.

You are correct, SC is very talented and should be able to beat us if they play well. But I was looking at their schedule and iis brutal over the next four weeks so maybe they are over looking us and we can sneak up on them. Probably not but maybe, just maybe.

Who won that game? Last time I checked Football was a team sport. The Otis kid is good but obviously not good enough, he could not even make through the game so is tuff and who is not? Choctaw, good to hear from you. You are correct about the mistakes. We certianly cannot beat SC with a bunch of mistakes ...not sure we can without mistakes. SC is very good but with Dobyns Bennett up next for them, we may just be a trap game. Or we may just be a nice tune up for them.

As of yesterday WB was the 1st or close 2nd best team in Blount County but I would have to say not too close. It will be a 4 quarter battle between WB and Maryville. Don't take my word up here in mo town, just ask the WB fans. That is all I heard last night...before the game. Hahahaha

As I saw it, several of our players also dropped wide open touchdown passes and we fumbled 6 times...6 TIMES and we still won. We should have won that game by 3 touchdowns in mu opinion. All I heard before the game was how bad WB would beat us and that they were going 9-1 or 10-0 if they beat Maryville. Now it is just excuse after excuse after excuse. Dropped passes, fumbles, bad coaching decisions,missed kicks, cramps, bad QB decisions, missed tackles, interceptions. It is all part of the game...of every game so do not continue using them as excuses. For every reason you give as to why WB should have won, I will give you a reason as to why the Canes should have won by more. Come on man

With West looking bad and Jeff. Co. not looking to good this week it looks like this game may have some IMAC implications. Can the Canes get it done this year or is SC still on another level.

Excuses excuses excuses. Just admit that you guys are better than last year but still have a long way to go before becoming competitive. Uou beat a very bad 3A school and it is between you and Maryville for the gold ball. Then you play a 6A tean that went 1-9 and you get waxed. Reality is such a bummer sometimes.
