I know nothing about this guy and have no dog in this race, but according to the Jackson Sun he went 12-67 as a head football coach. That's laughable. He's bringing in Quinn that was the OC at TCA and a great football coach so maybe that's it?

I saw at a JV game that Riverside had several coaches that looked pretty young. Do none of those guys want to be HC? Kinda seems like you would at least see some of their names being brought up?

Coaches do not coach for money. You can ask 10 coaches if they would love to coach their alma mater and I would guess 8 of them say yes. Comer is one of the 8

NCS is one of the best high school football teams I've seen since the very early 2000s. They would for sure win 2A and compete with either Alcoa or CPA in 3A

I'm not arguing with you, but I think the coaching staff has a reason that 11, 3, and 44 are the primary ball carriers. Just because as a fan you see someone make a few catches during a game or at practice does not mean they should be more involved. Swenson has been coaching football for a long time. I trust that he is fully capable of knowing what guys he can trust to get the job done.

I meant West TN. I just can't say that TC is in the West but I know what you mean from a Tennessee high school football standpoint. I think yall will have a great year next season. WC is in the same boat. IMO they are almost in West TN but it's just hard for me to say that! I agree 100% that the o-line is the foundation of a team. Games are won in the trenches on both sides of the football in any level. My point was I think the offensive line for next year will come in and be just fine. Those guys hopefully got some valuable reps this season and in JV as well. With all the skill players we have we will be good either way I believe. Should be a fun year next season.

Call me crazy, but I don't see us losing our o-line as a huge deal to overcome. Our d-line will hurt more from graduation than on offense. Those guys were big and all but in the offense we run, they can be replaced. As for next year - I think Huntingdon will be very good again if they can stay healthy. UC is always a lock to make a deep run and I agree with you that Dresden is #1. Those three teams will be the best three in West Tennessee (A) in my opinion.

No dog in this fight but after seeing both teams I figured I would share my opinion. NCS is one of the best highschool football teams I have seen in a while. Athletes all over the field. Saw many Huntingdon fans saying 35 was "taunting" and all that jazz, but I personally can't wait for him to be a Vol. Maybe he will bring 12 with him because that's the fastest kid I have seen all year. NCS is very good and WC knows it. I think it will be close but I just can't see NCS losing again this season. Best of luck to both teams.

Nice to see but this is the playoffs. We will have to play mistake free and almost perfect from here on out. I think we still have a good team but we are young at the skill position. Hope we pull it out though.

Defense hasn't changed too much after the injuries. Offense is still basically the same just with new guys running it. Not as elusive as it was earlier in the year but still scoring points
