  1. The way Indy played, I think it will be easy for them to keep momentum, but one tough loss could spell disaster (much like it did for the Pats last year). As for Page, I would call it a “rebuilding” year, but considering that Palmer has already stepped down for next year, this season is shaping up to be worthless. I hope that the new coach at Page can rebuild a team that can once again compete with 5A schools.
  2. Sorry about that. I didn't know they gave PhD's to dumb people. You would think that with all those years in school she would know how to run one. Oh well.
  3. Oh I see what you're saying. The Page players in recent years came from subdivisions. Well what I was saying above was that Page is still getting those good ole' boys in the program while much of its population (the subdivisions) has been rezoned.
  4. I'm not sure if you're responding to my post or not, but how do you figure that Page's players come from subdivisions, if all the subdivisions got rezoned to Indy? That really doesn't make much sense.
  5. Yeah and that new quarterback you got, is he gonna lead the offense with all those "tail-kickings" that he wasn't even present for. It's like startin all over. How many quarterbacks does Indy have anyway. It seems like one for each down. Once yall figure out who your leaders are, you can start becoming experienced. You can open up yesterday's Tennessean if you want to read about the leaders at Ravenwood and Franklin. And like I said Indy has a fair amount of talent compared to Page so stop contradicting things I didn't say. If you want to say that they are as talented as Franklin, Ravenwood, Brentwood, or Centennial just say that and then hope that they can prove it this year on the field. And stop calling people turds, Mrs. Webb considers that a curse word.
  6. bulldog you're crackin' me up! "Indy = Experienced" HA! They aren't experienced and that is what gives Page hope over this 5A GIANT. Luckily even though Page has lost much of its population in recent years, they continue to grow those good ole' boys that have had a football in their hands since they were in their mother's womb. Indy has its fair share of talent too when compared to Page, but if you compare them to other 5A schools, including the ones in Williamson county (esp. Ravenwood and Franklin) they are lacking in the talent department. I'm not saying that talent is everything, but on week zero, it sure does help.
  7. For Page High Football's sake let's hope that Ravenwood and Independence burn down and that they combine all 3 schools so that Page can have a winning season!
  8. Don't argue about seniors. We all know that the seniors at both schools are below average. Something strange must have happened in all that rezoning because Page’s future doesn’t look too bright compared to last year, and the IHS junior class is stacked! Page has a chance to win if everything goes their way and the Eagles get over confident, but I’m predicting a slow and painful loss for the Patriots. And by the way, she deserves more than an ugly stick, do you have a lead pipe or something more violent?
  9. those are some very interesting subliminal messaging tactics that you used there Page Fans. its too bad that donathan seems to be the only IHS fan using this thread.
  10. She could be the first athlete to win 4 state titles in TSSAA cross country history.
  11. It's okay seminoles, let 'em talk.... they'll see that it takes more than 2 runners to win a race. The cyclones have been inconsistant as a team all year. One bad runner in this race will lose your team at least 3 places. Plus Page High is bigger than FRA, EHS, and CCS.... so does that mean they're gonna win? Maybe "population" isn't everything coniglio!
  12. I heard that FRA is workin on a new victory dance move for after the race. I think it's called the E-town Stomp.
  13. Kathy Kroeger ran 17:50 at Steeplechase last Thursday. Is it true that the amazing freshman from Independence High School in Franklin also used to train with the Page High School boys team when she was in middle school?
  14. Who is Josh Jaynes? Is he like the next Mike Jones or somethin? People are sayin that he will be pushin Joseph Pair, but Pair has his PR beat by over half a minute!
  15. If winning the the 100m and 200m in the middle TN section by a couple of strides each and setting middle TN sectional records as a junior makes you "top dog", then I nominate James Vaughn of Page High.
  16. Spell check, anyone?
