It was a good game, Tullahoma showed that poise, intelligence and discipline can overcome speed, athleticism and aggression...While I am not a t-town fan, the 2nd half adjustments and the way the eagles fell to earth after each little setback was the difference. Lots of missed tackles and what looked to be poor routes on O and poor discipline on D was the difference. Maybe the Eagles will find the one thing you cannot coach and maybe earn a shot at a rematch in November...Congrats to the cats and their fans..hope we can celebrate on your field for a couple of hours (like you seem to do each year I watch the game)next year!

After reading "fly eagle fly" comments, I may want to change my prediction.."Pride comes before the fall", I seem to remember that saying from Sunday school. Shelbyville has better talent and coaches than I thought (read bios on their website)..However, coaches do not play the game and from what I saw yesterday when I drove up and watched Shelbyville's practice wasn't impressive...If you can't hit hard on Tuesday or Wednesday...chances are you won't hit hard on Friday! Shelbyville is more talented but this has the makings of a classic upset...Maybe the Duck knew what they were doing when they picked this game!

Should be a great game, as I'd bet the Duck and T'Town fans are counting on the wildcats to win over an undisciplined Shelbyville team...However, I saw the Eagles on Friday and they look great as they have in the past at the skill spots but their D-line and safeties are better than I remember from past Central teams...Could be a difference maker.
