he played football for the franklin county rebels. I think 1976 to 1978 he was at the LB position might be off on the years a little.

The Winchester Herald Chronicle has a sports write up about this. What coach should be considered for the position? I think they should look into coach Mac McCurry. Would also like to see Tracy Hayworth be considered or have both on the team one head coach and the other the assistant coach.

I think Lincoln County will get the win. Don't think Lincoln County will lay down. When a team plays for pride they sometimes will play better than if they had a shot for a playoff (they have nothing to lose). If Lawrence County beats Franklin County which I hope they don't. First off I have to take my hat off to the coaching staff for all the hard work and dedication it takes to run a football team. I pull for the players and coaches and support the program and don't have a kid in it. Have to look at it this way when things aren't going well who most of the time gets the blame? (Head Coach) that's just the nature of the beast. Positive manner starts from the coaching staff and leaks in to the community if the coaches and players are fired up then so will be the community. the community does help the program if it is positive but the community does not make the program. the program has to get the community to buy into it. GO REBELS!!!!!!

I don't know if FC has more than 2 pass plays in the play book if they do I haven't seen them all season. I will have to say coach Carr surprised Shelbyville in the first half with a I formation which keep them right there with Shelbyville in the first half. I know it surprised me I thought FC would come out in the double wing and by half time Shelbyville would have ran away with the game. FC has to have more successful pass plays to keep the other teams from stacking the box all game long. Don't know if the coaches will make that happen. Seems to me FC coaches are one dimensional.

FC does have the ability to have the best team in the district but the coaching staff well that's another story.

Who wins this one? I would say FC wins but this game is hard to call Coffee County always plays FC hard. FC is about to see the biggest away team crowd they have seen in years.

Franklin county's triple threat run game will be to much for Tullahoma. FC's secondary is no stranger to the pass game they seen a lot of passes in the Lincoln County game. FC 35 - 24 Go Rebels!!!!!

Coffee County played a Freshmen at QB all night. Good win for Coffee County. Congrats to players and coaches on hard fought ball game. Much improved Coffee County!!!

well last year they got shut out by Columbia 35-0 this year they lost 50-42 and Coffee County ran out of time in the 4th quarter on the Columbia 1 yard line. Columbia is a improved team from last year also. so point is if Warren County has to look to their running game to win and the defense lacks in the passing game then Coffee County wins because they will put the ball in the air lots of times. why I say Coffee County is much improved is because they believe in the coaching staff and in themselves can't forget the community and fans support also. they didn't have that last year. remember this is the first year of the new head coach so the young men are still adapting to the new. so just in the believing part of it, they are much improved.

They get beat by Giles County Friday night. I do see a possible win over Warren County and Lawrence County.

No way Warren County blows Coffee County out. Warren County has won the past 2 years but Coffee County was under a different head coach. Coffee County is a much improved team thanks to the new head coach and he has made a big impact in the community and Coffee County is fired up. can't judge them on the first 2 Power house teams they played. had a real close game against Columbia last week. Columbia is a strong team in the District 8 AAA. with that said Coffee County wins and Warren County doesn't get a win at home for the first time in two years. Franklin County Rebel Fan Go Rebels
