Sorry Postman, but this is definitely not Slim Shady. I actually played at and graduated from Westmoreland in 1990. I moved away to a different county after college, but I still keep up with my Eagles. I try to make it to every game I can, and that is most of them.
And yes, Graves was the starting QB in 1986. He is the best in Westmoreland history in my opinion. Great athlete with a good arm. He was a special player.
With that being said, I just see this year's team playing with heart and passion like no other in Westmoreland history. Roger Perry had our boys going back then, but this year's team just has that chip on the shoulder from being disrespected. I think we have a legit shot of winning state, and supassing the acheivements of the '86 and '95 teams.
