That's been the problem in the first four games. No consistency to speak of. I suppose that's to be expected with a young and inexperienced offense. Hopefully they'll improve and build a little steam towards the latter part of the season. That said, a win is a win no matter how it's achieved. We'll take it.

You pretty much nailed it. As far as beating LC, I think we should. I also think we should have beaten Gibbs but we see how that turned out. Going to be a lot of learning for us this year.

Play at home vs Lenoir City.

Not hog but I'll sum it up for you.We move the ball fairly well from 20-20 but tend to shoot ourselves in the foot inside the 20. Had it inside the 20 four different times vs Central and came away with no points.

You guys look pretty darn good. Speed and athleticism all over the field. You guys may be young but will be tough as always. As far as us, I like our D but the offense needs some work. Altogether I would say it was a pretty good scrimmage. Best of luck to you guys this year

You've got a point about having to replace kids that graduated. We should be ok in the secondary and WR positions. Good talent but lacking game experience. Both lines and LBs will be improved. The big ? Is the QB position. That's what next years success will hinge on. Have to develop a serviceable QB.

I was discussing this situation with a head coach in 3-AAA a few weeks ago and he said that it was going to be canceled before it was announced. Said the talent level of the two teams will become very lopsided in the coming years. Read into that as you may, but I'm sure several folks know what I'm talking about.

^^^ This. Even though AC has owned it, it's a great rivalry. The only other game that draws as much gate $ is the OR game.

You're speaking the truth brother. For years there was more talent walking the hallways of the school than there was on the football field. Its amazing what a competent coaching staff can accomplish.

Roberts ran him down and popped him pretty good too (angle). Heck of an effort. Roberts is going to be pretty hard to handle in the next two years.
