Take nothing away from Grace they had a good game plan and played hard deserved the win but Meigs biggest weakness showed itself COACHING. Why no zone when Grace scoring 90% in the paint. why pull scorer last half to replace with someone Grace did not even guard due to lack of scoring ability. Not meaning any disrespect for her great hustle and good defender but this allowed Grace to clog the middle basically we played 4 on 5 on offense. Hopefully he wakes up girls deserve better.

Holiday stepping down was best for the program. I hope the administration can find a experienced coach the kids deserve it. This could be a pretty good team with the right leader several good athletes return and several good player's chose not to play last year now planning to play next season. Good luck on the search hopefully they find the right fit.

ASPUGOV7 I believe you there is no way you could be talking about Meigs you could not put Meigs and good coaching in the same paragraph. If you were then you have not been around Meigs football for several years.

Mullinax is a good coach. I remember him at basin and mcminn. He is what the meigs coaches call old school and they believe old school will not be successful in this so called modern football era. Looks like it still works technique, discipline hard work and accountability never gov outv of style. Wake up Meigs Co.

Good ole/ boys that who we have coaching now. If they knew what they were doing there should not be a need to completely change the offense or defense 5 games into the season. Meigs has a good following and instead of not going or listening to the radio you should attend school board meetings and voice your frustration with the current coaching situation.

Ok any opinion's who is going to win this one?

My opinion it's the coaches the talent of the players is not where it has been in years past but the current team and the past years teams should have been performed better and that falls to the coaches. I have been around Meigs football for many years and it's a shame that the school administrators have allowed their program to get to the level it is at now. The word for the last few years has been we are to small of a school to compete at 2aa now where do we go from here because it seems we are not able to compete at 1 A either.
