Yep better more focused team won Fri night. We did have 3 bad calls, but that did not beat Mustangs. Have to match WC intensity & do small things right and make plays. 0-3 vs WC, so they have bragging rights for 12 more months unless Mustangs can refocus and get on a run in playoffs, would love to make it to round three for another shot this year. Rice nice job on both sides of ball.

All about intensity.  JMO, but Huntingdon looks to be faster than WC skill position both sides of the ball, WC line looks bigger both sides of the ball, nothing unusual for Huntingdon all year.  If Huntingdon is motivated = Mustang victory.  If they come out flat such as Milan game then have concerns.  I'm guessing if Mustangs cant get motivated for this one after stewing for a year on last seasons loss, and do the same thing to WC, that Milan did to Huntingdon in payback mode, then I'll be surprised.  Revenge and payback should be brewing in the pits of Mustang players stomachs = motivation + more team speed athletes = Mustang Victory.  Praying for a injury free game for both teams and hope both teams play their A game and best team wins.  Huntingdon 27 >  WC 21, algebra class over.

Kevin Kevin, have you seen either uc or dresden? UC no athletes this year. No matter what scheme you run, you have to have athletes which they do not this year. If they pay again dresden wins again.

Overthetop, what a fitting name, what team do you support?  We gave credit to WC, who beat us, but outside that one game, every other game between last year and this year, has been 50 point blowouts, that does neither team playing any good, so I'm not following your sarcastic comment...  it is overthetop.

It's not about changing classifications it's about changing regions. Nothing against WC because they have a great program and have owned us the past 4 years. But playing teams like we are currently playing is doing nothing but hurting our team. It's not getting us ready for the playoffs and attendance at games has dropped noticeably. In the two years we have been in this district how many games have huntingdon and WC played that were close? My guess is that the only close game is when we play each other. It's ridiculous

Humboldt threw for 350+ yards. Dresden will throw for 500+ if they choose to throw it.

called it early in season, UC secondary and skill players talent level down a bit from past three years. Dresden is favorite this year over uc.

one view point, another is you are only legally able to hit live practice like 60 min per week, so if players not playing full games on Fri, then when they need to play grinder they not in game shape.

This game will shed some light in Mustang land, as we have played a very good Milan vengeance seeking team and 2 jv teams, so 3 lop sided games. So still many questions remains, week 5 and starters have only played about 7 qtrs. Last two years not very competitive games between Stangs and Rebs, home team has handed out pretty good whipping. Hard to believe the lack of interest in this game.  My favorite game of the year and only 3 post???????  Lets gets some predictions, some smack talk.  My call >>>  Huntingdon by 2 TD's or more.  Why, this group has beat the same Milan players, for several years.  the senior, junior, soph, and freshman classes have all beat Milan in Middle school, and more relevant, cough cough running clock last year.  OH ya, purple man, gantlet thrown down. 

Frogman, you might have more than 3 reply's on this thread if you cut to chase better in your listing.  Huntingdon Vs Milan, why list both undefeated vs 1A schools: we are a 1A school, your line is kind of a shot at both schools for winning a 1A game?  dont quite follow that.

My pulling for Dresden is unquestionable. But until we earn that Gold Ball we shouldn't consider ourselves tops. We should be playing humbly, and with something to prove, with a chip on our shoulders always seeking to improve. Better, always trying to be better. Attitude determines altitude. Teamwork makes the dream work.
