What's going on at whitwell they were picked to do well this season. Is it coaching? Is it lack of numbers? Has the team just quit on coach helton? Hopefully they can turn it around.

I could care less what SP builds at their stadium, if the fans like it and the players like it that's all that matters, just like at MC.We love all the improvements that were made to our stadium and as we all know it's about the kids and then being proud of their facilities.

Trey Phillips was the fastest player last year, followed by henderson. Blake ran around a 4.7-4.8 last year. Both henderson and Walters are below a 4.7 along with several others.we even have one or two lineman that run sub 5

It's just this simple the game is Sat@ 12. That is what Hixson and MC agreed on if you want to see the game show up and watch if you don't stay home. And yes the game was offered to play at Hixson, but that would put MC on the road for the first three games. And that would only give us four home games this season.

Ok here goes Marion County should have around 70+/- players out ths season.They have been working hard and getting stronger(as every other team ). Like every team we play we lost some good players and have holes to fill,but that opens up opportunities for younger players to step up. We just hope to be competitive this season

i think you are mstaken sir players are not allowed at the facility period coach or no coach. and the last time i checked the field was part of the faclities.

there is also some breakroom chatter that some of the pirate players were seen on the football field this week throwing footballs. Now correct me if i'm wrong but is that NOT a violatons of the dead period? And i ain't jokin

i think we start the season with 70 give or take a few. And yes the boys are getting bigger and stronger every day, I know for a fact that my son has got a lot stronger since last season ended. He will squat upwards of 350lbs,bench over 220lbs and clean around 200lbs. Not to shabby for sophmore, even if he is mine.

i cannot comment on what happened before Coach Ross arrived,because my son was not in highschool yet. He was a freshman last year.

You sir are an idiot, my son plays for MCHS and I can assure you EVERYTHING they did last year was all above board and completely by the rules. They took their punishment last year and still had a very good year. But I guess haters gonna hate. So what else did we do wrong Mr.Hargis?

yes tutors was a good player for us,but just so you know he did not play the entire game against SC. the young man that played that game in his spot was just a sophmore

I hate to break it to you Roy,but PP68 is correct,we will have over 80 young men lifting and running next week. If you had graced us with your presence last Friday you would have seen 60 kids practicing for yourself,then add in the 25+ incoming freshmen and it's a great problem to have.

Watched some of Marion Counties spring practice today and i will say that i'm impressed with how well they look. A lot of energy the boys are getting after each other, i believe they could play this friday and be very competitive. It was good to see all the boys from baseball back, looks like they picked up right where they left off. Also alot of younger players were getting reps. Can't wait until we get the eight graders over and see what the final numbers look like.
