Blackmanpride, just some advise... i STRONGLY suggest that you keep your identity a secret on here. I got suspended from the computers at school for 6 weeks for A LOT less than saying "piece of trash coach" and "monkey coach" The coaches do read this!!! I promise!!

The game was great last night. When Chase and Jaffarious were taken out in the third quarter they both made up 41 of the teams 49 points!!! Congratulations to CHAISSON on 1,000!!!

I came to the York game and a scrimmage against Gallatin, i've been out of town for Thanksgiving but I am trying my hardest to be there tonight!!!

Just out of curiousity..... did Oakland actually schedule York or is that just what was handed to them since they were playin in the Bridgestone Classic??

If it is the same thing that I heard it is really good!!! I can't wait for the games to start!!

Well what about Blackman this year?? There are rumors of them being the top team in district....??? I just find it hard to believe....

I'm pretty sure that i said i respected your coach very much so. But is it not a little disrespectful to BASICALLY state that since my team is out, of which i am fully aware of, my opinion or thoughts mean nothing??? And i have said all along that Riverdale (especially) and Soddy we're two great teams. I think your are getting a little too offensive and jumping to conclusions. Here are a few of my past posts about Riverdale softball "With the exception of White Co. I think we have one of the strongest districts in Tennessee. On any given day Siegel Lebanon and Blackman will compete with ANYONE. Cookeville and Warren Co. and Oakland have potential. Riverdale is GREAT and with GREAT pitching it tops it all off. Cat and Darci's stats are freaking amazing. And Riverdale is more than legit for state, they should be a shoe in. But i also thought that for the past two years and they came up short. The district tournament should be surprising from a couple teams. Good luck to all!!" Actually just to get things straight, I was on Siegel's side at the Ooltewah game. So was every other high school Blackman softball player. The Blackman girls that we're sitting on the other side we're from the middle school. And i have not ever "bashed a player" from Riverdale, as a matter of fact i have played with half of the Riverdale's players since i first moved to Tennessee, it is the fans that i sometimes question. If i was bashing i don't think i would have ever said that i thought they we're going all the way this year. Or from previous posts said that they would be number one in district. And i can remember myself telling people repeatedly that yall we're going all the way. And by the way I respect your coach A LOT considering what he has done to your program. So unless your talking about another Blackman fan on the T, you need to get your facts straight. And the Daily News Journal recorded 11 hits. Oh and "Raiderone" since my team has been out for a week makes my opinion not matter?????

Umps this umps that...... so do you Riverdale fans not realize that it's the same way in Murfreesboro, Cat's strike zone is far larger than any other pitcher in the boro' especially for her curve ball on the outside corner. Is it the umps fault for Soddy Daisy's 11 hits off of Cat also?? Riverdale is an amazong team BUT they are by far not unbeatable contrary to what you may believe seeing as how you want to put this loss on the umpires. I am amazed by the Riverdale fans consistently blaming the game solely on the umpires. Obvioulsy the Riverdale bats were not on as much as in the past. There are MANY MANY things the Riverdale players could have done to change the outcome of the game. For example the hit past third that could have scored...... smarter base running would have either held the runner or broke as soon as the ball was hit. Either way probably resulting in a scored run. I honestly thought Riverdale was going all the way this year. Good job on a GREAT season. But good luck Soddy Daisy.

So are we already blaming the game on the umpires???? In my opinion umpires NEVER win or lose a game. Trust me i know first hand of some horrible umpires but i don't think i have ever blamed a game on them. Tonight is gonna be two great games from Riverdale and Siegel, I CANT'T WAIT!!!

Blackman's fields are 220 and two girls from there hit it out this year.

So back to the previous stated question........ what's up with the all tournament picks??? Anyone know why they didn't announce them after the championship, or when they are going to announce it???

I wouldn't call it a funk, if you remember the first Riverdale Lebanon game was 2-0 Riverdale, and Siegel played them extremely close both games. It's district tournament time and teams are getting serious. And everyone knows about Riverdale's shortcomings during the post season. Does anyone know if Cookeville's fields are ready for today??

I'm not sure why other than money issues. But I did see them at numerous tournaments throughout the season, so it beats me.

They have not played any district games this year. They are only participating in the district tournament.

I couldn't agree with you more, I have played with my travel team for a considerably long time and have grown up with and learned to love the girls i play with with all my heart, and if my school started up an 18u travel team there is no way i would play on it. And my ego has nothing to do with playing summer ball it is more your heart and where it belongs in my case.

In real district games Riverdale is still going strong undefeated, Siegel is doing great with only one loss, to Riverdale Lebanon is a strong team who beat Blackman but i heard about a loss to Oakland which was pretty hard to believe Lebanon also lost to Riverdale and Siegel Blackman had a pretty bad week a couple weeks ago losing to Riverdale Lebanon COOKEVILLE (????????) and Siegel, i think we got our groove back against Siegel taking them into 9 innings at their house, it was a GREAT game and not to mention it is HARD to beat ANY team 4 times in a row. But great job by Siegel in that game. I think it will be Siegel Lebanon and Blackman fighting for the 2 spot in district, and anything can happen so keep defending your territory Riverdale.
