  1. I to am glad Shelbyville is out. Not only because they put Columbia out in the regional but its time Rick learns to respect his peers. In Columbia last year, his team was up by 34 points with 4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter and he still had all his starters in, still in a full court press. Why? What was to gain? He was risking injury to his starters while trying to humilate his opponents. We beat them by 18 & 17 in two regular season games this year. Early this season, his team was awful. They were so bad that it didn't feel that great to beat them by 18. He and his posey did a great job advancing as far as they did. But, at his age, he still has a few things to learn.
  2. Congrats to Coach Moore and all the Lady Lions. Great year. Lets finish strong tonight and get ready for the post season. We've got bigger fish to fry. If we take care of business, who won the district awards will be a distant memory.
  3. Proofofconcept If you had been around the Lions Den & this team just after Christmas, you would have no doubt who is in charge. One player was benched for a couple of games when she voiced her opinion of how things should be done. She has been a different player since that happened. Coach Moore is running the ship.
  4. Agreed. These ladies seem to work well together and get along great with each other. No cat fights, no arguing. They are focused on reaching their goals.
  5. Congrats to the Columbia Central Lady Lions and Coach Moore. What a year already. 26-2, perfect 12-0 in District 8AAA, first regular season district title & obviously the first perfect district mark. Coaching in the past two seasons is the difference. These ladys believe in Coach Moore. They D-up when she says its time to get going and have the ability to shut almost anyone down with their defense. If they can continue to play at that level, who knows how far they may go. Great season for the boys team also. 12-0 district mark, 22-6 overall.
