Sweet, Cole did end up at UTC . In the end , even though we loved USAFA, it was more about being close to family. Cole is very close to my parents and at their age/health they wouldn't be able to travel. We also lost my spouse who was in his life from age 4--right before last season. This was relevant in Cole's decision because he has a 6 year old sister he is really close with and just didn't want to miss the better part of her youth for college/football/anything. He always loved UTC and we are really grateful to them for being there for us. Sorry about the ramble but I would rather everyone know the truth Good luck to OR this year

Cant say we don't already miss Friday nights. I see OR taking this game-not because of skill players but up front. Farragut always has good athletes but same kids aren't always dedicated to weightroom. Iman Johnson replaced Tanner(tough to do) and is a good back. This team lost a lot and after last year I figure OR will bring it at home. JMO but as I said last year I look for CC to be the team that battles yall for region title. We were really impressed with their lineman and coaches last year despite the way the score looked.

Water drank on Friday doesn't matter whether you drink 20 gallons, its the water the whole week that keeps them from cramping. Figure also what they lose in practice- big deal also. Johnny Long told mine to take an ice bath on Thursday night -no cramps and your legs are refreshed for Friday.

Very true wingman, any fan can post in any of these threads. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion--my point is don't state opinion as fact on coaches . If you are gonna quote someones history then use there whole body of work not just a specific time frame to fit a one sided argument. In other words if you are a fan there is also good history with this coach so give it a chance. On Parker, fair enough but what I stated about their record while this coach was there is true. At one point coach Parker gave this guy a ton of credit and given their history I feel comfortable saying Frost was the xfactor--jmo but look at it unbiased

Frosts first job was at Cascade HS --a team that had 1 winning season in the prior 25 years before Frosts arrival-- they ended up with 6 winning seasons out of the seven he was there going to playoffs all those years except the one. Served as DC for 4 years and OC for 3, also serving as the catalyst for a dead weight program. So if you are a Riverside fan you should see this coach has real potential for a program with a "proud history". Frost won't get outworked and he will be demanding of his players--I say good hire by you guys--patience. If your not a Riverside fan wth is your agenda-why do you even care? Let me guess he didn't play your boy or he didn't(won't ever) buy into your attempt to suck up?? Come clean"truth" what category you fall into--most itt see through your BS

from my knowledge community had no football- not even much of a little league program to help get things started. can be one heckuva task ,especially at small schools where talent/kids can be a battle give the guy a break and a chance unless you can man up yourself and put yourself out there like coaches do btw where do you coach

To my knowledge vul this has been going on with 15 all year, in the weight room and practice field. I agree players should do what the coaches ask but as long as this has been going on it seems very odd that discipline of this sort happens now--why not fix it last summer? on the practice field? but rolling into the play offs ?? Nobody that has seen this kid play can deny his talent but everyone that has been at practice wonders why now???

#15 has been outstanding at mlb all season ---something happened in the 4th qtr vs west(my son says 15 was changing defensive plays coaches were calling). Since the west game 15 has played sparingly- only as a sub on d. Not saying the kids that are playing are bad -- but younger/not as strong or fast and 15 is an all conference type of kid

I think it comes down to turnovers -- speed and size will be a wash imo --not as much difference as most think plus throw in coaching errors cause I believe our coaches have made a big mistake with our lbs
