  1. Thanks. Sometimes a team needs a smack in the face to wake them up to the reality, it's the playoffs. No more handing out spankings. Calling for rain all evening Friday. Just didn't know if it would be a for sure factor.
  2. I'll hang up and listen to your answer. Go Vols!
  3. Did the rain subside in the fourth quarter last week during the Sullivan south game? Everyone wants the weather to be good Friday. I was at the Greeneville game and to be honest with you the rain never was a factor for Greeneville. Did Fulton turn it on when the rain subsided?????? Just curious.
  4. No doubt in my mind Friday night is the state championship game. Winner takes it all.
  5. No. They have a pretty large seating capacity on the home side but the visitor side will be packed. Better get there early.
  6. Tough year for you guys. Hate to see a tragedy hit these kids like it has you all this year. Good Luck.
  7. I'm sure he has taken heat for that commitment. You don't become a better golfer by playing putt putt. You challenge yourself by taking on tougher courses. Ballard at Greeneville lives by that kind of thinking. If your gonna play well in the playoffs you have to play tough opponents in the reg season. So far there hasn't been one. Not one. Those hosses from Signal Mountain gave them the most they've had this year but that was over after the first half. Knox Fulton, Oh My Gosh!!! I saw that last year. They are plain ol' fast! The game of the year. The winner of that one is bringing home the Hardware from Cookville.
  8. That's what I'm talking about!!! Those are great games, win or lose. And yes, they don't want to lose to G'ville in the regular season. Greeneville man handled DB in preseason, and Science Hill.
  9. GreenGreen, see the RebRaider response. I explain what I meant. Gonna be cold tonight!!!!!
  10. RebRaider, Thanks for understanding what I was saying. I'm pretty sure it's not just luck of the draw though. Greeneville doesn't choose to go 3 or 4 hours away to play. They can't get someone closer to play so they have to, not because they didn't draw well. GreenGreen, I was saying Greeneville is aligned with 3A/4A teams in the conference. They are actually listed as 4A. I know for fact they want to play DB(6A), Elizabethton(4A), and SciHill(6A) in the regular season but can't. Not because of alignments or draws. They Got West(5A) and Jeff County(6A) this year and spanked them. The other locals don't want that to happen in the regular season. I know wouldn't. Not trying to be a butt or anything just wondering why these teams won't/can't play Greeneville?
  11. I just wish Betsy, Sci-Hill, and DB would play Greeneville in the regular season like they used to. Greeneville has to go from Harlan KY., to Signal Mountain to fill their schedule now. I do understand their reasons though. Kinda embarrassing to get beat by a 3A team mid year. Hurts those deceitful state rankings. Greeneville-42 Betsy -14
